    1st time on Xbone

Normally i'm a ps4 guy. That's the system I play on at home.

So I was over at my buddies yesterday, and he has a X Box One. I can't stand the controller for 1, but 2 other big things jumped out to me.

    1) First off. WOW. This game runs SOOOO smooth on X Bone. What the heck is going on here?? How can it run SOOOO much better on one system rather than the other? My ground game on ps4 is already lethal. On X box it's like I deny everything with ease. The fighters don't feel like theyre skating on ice on X Box either. It just feels so much more responsive and fluid It honestly blew my mind.

    2) The button which opens up the X Box menu is WAY WAY to close to the (X) button. Probably 4-5 times in about an hour play session I accidentally opened up the X Box menu giving my opponent a free transition, or shot to the face. EXTREMELY frustrating.

I never press that button? Maybe you just have to get used to it.

It's smooth as hell now. Wasn't as smooth before the patch.

Could the internet connection at your friends house simply be better? Maybe you lag and you don't know it, I know I do and I feel like i'm on ice and nothing's fluid like you mentions

It could be your internet and you just don't know it but i can't say, i haven't played on ps4 to know if there is a difference or not.

This isnt entirely relevant, but I had a buddy who was absolute *** cheeks compared to me when we would play offline ufc 1 but when he would play online he was a god because he had **** lag, and he was used to this **** lag and none of his opponents were used to it so he rolled into red belt even tho he was trash lol

I have another buddy, and we play on PS4 over there, and it runs the same as at my place.

Could be a coincidence, and we both just have **** connections- compared to my other buddy with X Bone.

I don't know, but it felt amazing on X Bone, if only I could use my ps4 controller with glued on nubs that I love so much.

Same here, have played hundreds of matches and never had that happen. There's after market controllers out there FYI, but this sounds like a case of just not being use to the controller woes (as admitted by op).

yeah it's gotta just be me not being acclimated to the x box controller enough.

Sort of an off thing, but that controller just feels so completely awful to me. Is it just me or was the 360 controller far more ergonomic and comfortable?

Agreed I liked the 360 better. Have a controller with a built in fan that feels like the old 360 controller, mainly use that.

Was always better than PS4 though. I have had both since launch, and if XB1 had a bigger player base, I would have spent almost all my time on that console. It is the other way around though, so I play on PS4 because of the number of players.

Do you think UFC 2 on X bone runs better because there's less people on the servers?

The elite controller is where it's at.

I just can't go back to using the standard one.

Those custimizable elite controllers look dope AF. Not gonna lie.

Wish PS4 had something like that.

I had been considering ordering gold metal stick, triggers, d-pad, and face buttons to mod out my ps4 controller.

Seems like a fun project, and looks awesome when finished.

No. There were tons at launch, and it was still better. I think it is Microsoft's server infrastructure. I know it is p2p, but how can you explain one system feeling better than another? Some will say it is a placebo effect, but when you play you can tell.

Yeah, I don't know anything about it, but I definitely felt it when I was playing. Felt sooo goood.

I think the ground is smoother on XB1 but the standup is way smoother on PS4.
