The scaling of the kicking meter was one of my biggest issues with the game. I'll be turning that on regardless.

Re: Madden NFL 17 Accessibility Improves with Larger Icons, Colorblind Support & More
I'm very excited for this new feature. It will help me out a lot. A couple of years ago, I had to get reading glasses. Now, My vision has gotten to the point where I have to wear glasses all the time.Comment

Is the kicking meter independent of the other accessibility icons? The passing icons look a little big for some people, but will you be able to turn the kicking meter to the large version independently?XBOX Series X Gamer Tag: AlsbronComment

Great addition. I don't have the best eyes anymore so this makes me very happy.Joshua:

As someone who just learned that positive and negative balances in OOTP were green and red, respectively, this is a welcomed addition! (And I've been playing OOTP since v4...)
Color blindness is ignored way too often in this digital age, but I'm glad to see more developers are making an effort to offer options for those with particular seeing disabilities (OOTP does have a dark layout that fixes these red/green colorblind issues I had).
Good job, EA. Actually, I take that back. Great job."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

Re: Madden NFL 17 Accessibility Improves with Larger Icons, Colorblind Support & More
My brothers neighbor is legally blind (but can still (sort of) see) and he's a hell of a gamer. I wouldn't play against him in anything. Heck of a guy. Glad this is optional. Makes it a WIN/WIN for everybody.Comment

Like the accessibility options!
I noticed they're doing some cool things to help people with limited vision. I haven't been able to play Madden in a couple years, ever since they took away the "coach talk," right before the play, that explained what kind of play it was. This was great for me, because I can't see well enough to know if I'm picking a pass or run play. My question, is there a way to know what I'm picking without reading the screen. In other words, can I map plays to particular buttons?1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!Comment
