Indy company working on new ncaa game??

Don't know how legit this is. I'm in the camp that anything is better than nothing though.

Anybody heard of this guy before.?

I agree. It would probably be generic schools to avoid lawsuits and I would be fine with that so long as something like teambuilder function existed. My only concern with an indie company is the limited number of developers compared to a company like EA.

I look at it this way, if they do make it and is up to par people will buy the game. There is a fairly large group that loved it before it was taken from us. If the game does well then the company can invest more money into it and if it does really well then EA will be knocking at the door with a game also. I would rather have a game from an indie company than no game at all like we do now. SO lets hope for the best.

They can't use any of the real schools, but if they were to make a fully customizable game everyone could go to work making the real teams. Honestly though, are they really going to be able to make a better game than NCAA 14? It's not perfect, but it's probably 90% of the way there.

I think people reeeeeeally underestimate how difficult it is to make a really good sports video game with functioning physics, enough working modes, etc. Plus, we would have to edit 127 teams or so. It will be difficult but my expectations aren't very high.

If they can't use real schools, conferences, stadiums and bowl games, I would have zero interest. Over the past few months I've gone back and played games like Backbreaker, All Pro Football 2k8, etc... and none of them come close to NCAA 14. Like someone mentioned previously, the game is not perfect but it has everything a college football fan would want. Making a new college football game from scratch and not being able to use everything that was previosly a given (like real stadiums and unis) is a recipe for disaster.

I'll say that I will play any sports game hat I can replicate my fighting illini in any way. I bought the show so that I could create illinois in diamond dynasty, I bought 2k so I could create them there, I would buy madden if they allowed me to do the same. All it takes is editable uniforms and I will be sold.

I would have interest if they include an edit function and if it is current gen/ps4.

They can use real schools they just have to get the licensing to them which they are working on now
