At this point I don't care who we get....I miss the days when we had an intimidating big line up. Pat, Oak...Mase....we need a big again that can open up the outside...

I like it if I'm a Knicks fan. Even if Rose only plays 60 games next season it's still a valuable deal.

I like the deal for the Knicks. I don't think it puts them in an East title contention yet but it's a step towards it.

            I think the Bulls/Knicks trade was win/win.

Knicks take a flyer for 1 year to see if Rose can improve and stay healthy. Rose is in a contract year so unlike last year I suspect Derrik will be attacking the paint more then just settling for 3s and stepback jumpers. He was very mediocre at 44th in PER for PGs, but he was in a new system (Hoiberg) and coming off preseason injury. Doubt he will ever be top 10 PG again, but he certainly can improve on last season.

Bulls replace Noah & Gasol with a reasonable $ contract in Lopez. Grant gets them younger and Calderon comes off the books next year so Bulls can start rebuilding. They may have also solved some team chemistry issues with Butler.

As a knicks fan, wasn't impressed with Grant at all, Calderon has gotta be the slowest pg in the universe (guys eyes light up when they see him guarding them) and Lopez had some value as a defender but is also replaceable.

              I'm ok with this.
