How so? they didn't update equipment till this yr and it still needs work... other sport game always have up to date equipment, correct placement for accessories, multiple signature animations for individual players

In M16 they released a player likeness update. This year they scanned all new equipment which was never been done in a football video game. They actually just started doing this in NBA2k16 actually. Shoes are a way bigger deal in basketball than equipment is in football. I know it was long over due but they knocked it out of the park with the Jordan's and the huge selection of cleats, gloves and other gear.

Yeah gotta completely disagree with you on that one, player models, equipment we've been waiting for forever, signature animations, the list goes on and on. Madden is dead last in player likeness in contrast to the other games which shall remain nameless

Madden has some of the best and most accurate face scans in sports games. Madden destroys most when it comes to coaches too.

and yet none of those are editable, 1 Jordan cleat, and the one arm/basketball sleeve looks horrible.. we'll see if they continue to update every yr or wait another 5-6 yrs

Well, with all do respect to Kane. I don't believe all decisions are made by him. I think they did great with the cleats, color options....but this has been a trend for EA over the last ten years that doesn't seem to be changing. We ask for specific things like the compression sleeve that goes half way up the bicep. We've been asking for it for 2 years now, and EA gives us some half azzed version of it. They just give us a full one arm sleeve.... Not acceptable. Meanwhile you have other sports games that basically have had this in their games for 5 years now, clear color options are endless in other sports games, wristbands have looked way more realistic in other games and madden wristbands look like somebody wrapped a towel around the arm. Everything they do just seems half azzed and year in and year out nothing is done to correct it or do the right way. They way it should be done. Then they give some lame excuse that they have to start from a scratch or rewrite code, bla bla bla, meanwhile other sports games get it correct. Do it right, or don't do it at all.

Lame excuse? If you haven't talked face to face with the devs you probably shouldn't say stuff like that.

I guess you guys are right... I should just settle for mediocrity. No need to let EA know about anything that isn't good with their game, no matter how small you think it is. I must have forgot negative feedback is not allowed here cause we got guys like price and jpdavis that were put in an EA dunk tank and the rest of the forum police around here puffing there internet muscles every time someone says something negative. Whatever.

I think of myself as one of the most negative posters on OS. Thing is there is a right way and a wrong way to go about it. Sure there are guys who will defend the game no matter what but there are also guys who will tear it down no matter what. The trick is to find the middle ground, except that bad things are bad and move on.

I post plenty of positive feedback with respect to EA. But I also don't like when people who think there above others on this site just cause they get invited to events like E3 and EA play gives them the right to shoot down my complaints and negative feedback because they think it's a small issue and I'm being petty. I call it as i see it. If something doesn't look realistic or looks like it could be improved I'm gonn call it out. I'm not here to protect anyone's feelings. I'm tryin to help build a better madden for the future.

Thanks, the other stuff looks great. I'm sure this season there will be some other sleeve that the players wear and it will give me something else to complain about. It's never ending, ��

By the way, this was a post I made last year.. Just constructive criticism. That's all I'm doing.

It's not about shooting any complaints down. Kane knows, man. He knowwwwwwwwwwwwws the one-arm sleeve isn't right. He's only been told a few million times in the last few weeks about it. So you jump in here essentially calling him lazy because they aren't in there is A) not telling him anything he doesn't already know and B) telling him in such a way that will make him (and others) never want to interact with you ever again.

The complaint is valid. Posting like a petulant child isn't.
