EA Sports UFC 2 Game Update 1.08 & Content Update #5 Available Now (UPDATED)

Geoff Harrower, A.K.A. GameplayDevUFC, has been posting quite a few details on the upcoming EA Sports UFC 2 patch on his Twitter page over the past few days. While no date for the patch has been revealed, he has posted quite a few nuggets. Check out some of them below and let us know what you think!

• AI will now perform takedowns after catch kicks
• Improvements to AI stamina management. AI now more likely to take time between combos to regen stamina if low.
• Tuned AI fighter tendencies for fighters who should throw more/less kicks
• Improved judges scoring logic
• And to top things off, there is a brand new move coming

UPDATE 6-27: EA Sports UFC 2 game update 1.08 and content update #5 are available now, below are some additional details.

This update adds three fighters, additional moves to Ultimate Team and Create a Fighter, and AI Tuning.

• Josh Samman - Men's Middleweight
  
• Lorenz Larkin - Men's Welterweight
  
• Leonardo Santos - Men's Lightweight

GAMEPLAY UPDATES

• Added Stockton Slap and Imanari Roll Takedown moves to both UFC Ultimate Team and Create a Fighter
• Adjusted AI tendencies regarding Stamina Management and Kicking for specific fighters.

this will be a patch for the AI but i dont mind, i want to start my career mode.

Here we go again. I'm keeping an open mind on the AI. Let's hope the main issue of stamina is fixed this time.

I hope we get some good fighter DLC this time. Please let Larkin or Hall or anyone with a decent name be in this patch. I want fighters with good stats and perks to be added not scrubs that no one plays with.

Judges scoring logic got improved. Hmmmmm... I thought they were pretty good besides a few bad ones every now and then. It felt realistic...

I wonder what part of the judges scoring got a buff??? or nerf???
This I would like some info on because right now I have it figured out pretty much.

I'm kinda shocked Ryan Hall is not in this game already. UFC 2 is made for fighters like Ryan Hall with the way the ground game is now. That's why ppl like DC, Khabib and other ground guys are so much fun.

I think they should tone down the face damage. Its too fast and too much in opinion. Anyone else think the same?

I agree with that and told the devs. They said it was unlikely that would be changed in this years game.

GPD said, it's not a taunt, It's a brand new move for the standup and it will be come out the next patch.
