Pretty sure they've increased the game speed with an overnight update. Career game I've just played was more like pinball than basketball, but interested to see how this plays out in park

Yep, it's now just a chaotic mess of sprinting and pinball. Maybe I'll get used to it after a while, but they've gone too far the other way with game speed, so offence now has all the advantages.
Get yourself stepback freeze and become a great park player.
