NBA 2K : Cross plateform
If they do add this, keep it like Rocket League where you have the option to turn off cross play. I personally would just prefer to play against PS4/Xbox One users.

Re: NBA 2K : Cross plateform
Why is that ? On FPS games I totally understand that console players would want to play with console players and PC players with PC players. But on a sports game I don't really see why one would want to play specifically against players from his own system.
I'am sure it's not easy to do though but that would be amazing. I mean PC players would probably benifit the most from that because it's hard to find games. And it's near impossible to find good games. Actually I only have one sim friend to play against on PC.Comment

I don't know how cross platform would work in general and how it will be set up w/ 2K but I know park wise PC players got a lot of silly stuff going on over there. Players over 7' and celebs and etc. Honestly don't know what else they'd be capable of. So I don't know if they'll be able to bring that to the Park and Pro-Am and etc. Personally, I would just have my options set on consoles only if it was an option.

Re: NBA 2K : Cross plateform
They would have to fix the cheating nonsense for crossplay, no excuse to let PC users suffer already. It affects all game modes because with the same cheating software they can drop out of games giving you 0-0 lose.I don't know how cross platform would work in general and how it will be set up w/ 2K but I know park wise PC players got a lot of silly stuff going on over there. I am not saying let them suffer. I am just saying give us options. I believe every game that allows cross play should make it optional and customizable.
Me personally, I just wouldn't cross play w/ PC players. It's too much going on from what I've seen. So I wouldn't even have to deal w/ that cheating software or etc by just selecting consoles or PS4 players only. That'll be more than enough for me. I don't know anyone from PC so it's no positives for me. But for PC players I can see how it'll be huge.

Re: NBA 2K : Cross plateform
All because 2k simply allows it .
i'm actually not feeling shortage of players because europe server is packed there. But for people from US its problematic with empty parks and not being able to find anybody in matchmakings.Comment

Re: NBA 2K : Cross plateform
One solution is if they allowed PC users to buy the game through the Windows/Xbox store. This would mean that Windows 10 and XBOX only are crossplay (which would annoy some ppl), but it would eliminate the hacks and BS for PC users that chose to buy it from there instead of Steam.
It would be slightly more expensive than on steam (i.e the same price as on console) but I would happily pay the extra cost if it meant a larger user base and no cheaters messing up the game for me.
Microsoft have said that the functionality is there for 3rd party developers to use if they choose (all 1st party games are crossplay and released on both platforms) so it is possible.
Also for anyone wondering why this would remove the ability to cheat: Windows does not give you access to the game files for Windows/Xbox Store games so the tools that are currently being used to modify hidden values and access memory addresses would not work. As far as I know, no-one has been able to mod a Windows/Xbox Store game yet (correct me if I'm wrong...)Comment
