My favorite equipment addition is secondary team color sleeves and tape. Thank you so much for all the additions. I haven't been anxious for a football game in a long time and I can't wait to play Madden '17.

Ya, cant wait for this one either. Having that secondary color for sleeves really adds more options for when you wear the throwback jerseys.

I'm going to use it liberally. So much better than real life, with the "one color per base layer" rule.

Its nice but it will look off if only a few guys are matching the way you want them too while everyone else is wearing the wrong color, and will be a pain in the butt to have to go into your roster and manually switch everybody to the color you want to match up with for every different uniform combination. You should be able to choose sleeve color the way you choose sock color

What I'm interested in is what teams like the eagles will have as the secondary colors given their secondary color would be a silver that is practically white. I would prefer they make Kelly Green the secondary color so it would match with the throwbacks but I guess we'll see?

Tough to say, because the secondary team colors are apparently based on the accent colors of the standard jerseys. They may just go with the silver as an Oregon kind of color scheme, since kelly green might deviate too much from their forest green/black/white/silver color scheme. Thats why we need to be able to choose what the team wears for team colors. The only thing NFL teams give their players leeway in is wrist/forearm bands and sleeves. Sleeves and cleats have to conform with whatever the team sets as the standard. This way the devs could give us very different alternate colors that would correctly match throwback jerseys, such as Eagles and Jets green, Bucs creamsickle, Bills navy blue, Chargers powder blue, etc

Awesome stuff. Now they just need an option to turn off BCA uniform modifications in CFM so your players don't look like damn flamingos for 1/4 of the season

They really just need to tone it down to a more realistic level. I think it's great that they even have it in the game though.

Options are good. The big issue is that every team- or secondary- colored accessory, including cleats, turn pink (i.e. for the Packers, Green is the team color, yellow is the secondary). They should just make one or the other turn pink at the very least, but I'd prefer a on/off toggle.

excited about the new equipment - though the huge amount they added makes me even more puzzled as to why we still don't have something so simple as mouthguards.

Kane said its because it causes problems with the head scans and because the players talk, they just have to figure out a solution.

maybe nxt yr for ankle tape not over cleats or team/black socks
