EA Agrees to 3 Year Exclusive Partnership with Juventus, Starting with FIFA 17

    <iframe width="620" height="349" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/qr9yCJbG990" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

EA and Juventus have agreed on a three-year exclusive partnership, starting with FIFA 17. Many players, including Buffon, Pogba, Dybala, and Chiellini have been scanned in already, along with Juventus Stadium. Check out the video here, along with plenty of new screenshots.

In addition to new player faces and creating Juventus Stadium through FIFA 17’s brand new engine Frostbite™*, the partnership will see a range of cross-marketing activities during the 2016/17 season including EA SPORTS gaming pods with FIFA 17 located in Juventus Stadium, accessible before the matches and at half time, fan competitions hosted on EA and Juventus digital channels and a dedicated EA SPORTS sponsorship of the Juventus MVP of the month, supported by exclusive FIFA 17 digital content.

Juventus will also play a significant part in the overall marketing campaign of FIFA 17, including featuring on the FIFA 17 demo as well as in upcoming global marketing content, featuring Juventus players rendered in-game.

Re: FIFA 17 Video Featuring Official Video Game Partner Juventus

Despite Frostbite, I'm sure FIFA will still pretty much be FIFA, but there's no denying how good it looks. I'm happy EA made the investment to bring the game into current gen.

So does this mean PES is becoming a credible threat again and EA feels the need to ice out the competition by buying exclusive club rights. How about they invest in just making the most badass footy game on the planet. I though last years would be good and then they decided to tune the game so it felt almost the same as the previous installments aka arcady rather than sim. I will prob go with PES this year.

Exciting stuff eitherway. I could care less about the politics, just hope the game plays great. Nothing wrong with playing, and loving, both PES and FIFA.

Because EA likes to compete with licensing, not gameplay, as history has shown us.

Let's not turn this into a bash EA session, please.

Wow. That's the team I typically run with and I preferred PES last year. Gameplay will be the deciding factor for me this go round.

Wouldn't it be better if they did this for the entire league, and not just one team? I don't get why we should be excited about this for a single team.
