You guys realize you're buying the game from this company too right? Maybe it was an oversight or an accident, but either way it's bad. 500 million dollars were spent by people on ultimate team alone and they still don't get it right. Get back to complaining about how all the development time is going to ultimate team though and that's why career mode is trash.

Eh, I pay $50-$60 for an offline experience that is rarely touched/updated post-release. UT is updated constantly. Anyone investing hundreds or thousands of dollars on VC for UT should know the risks. Hell, the first few times you buy packs and get nothing of value should be an instant wakeup. If you go past that point it's all on you. These types of games glitch and screw people over every year.

Updates to FUT are minimal outside releasing team of the week and they've been able to put special cards into the game less than an hour after a match ends so I'm not sure how much work that is for them. They update the ratings which they also do for offline.

You might feel like you're being screwed over every year and that's whatever but your anger at other players for that is ridiculous. If it's true you're being screwed over, you're being screwed over by EA the company that just screwed over a large portion of its players (probably by accident) and you thought it was hilarious then. How does that work?

As for how much money people spend, it's none of anyone's business but that person. If someone spends $100-200 and gets 40-50 hours of entertainment out of it that's their business. I'm sure everyone appreciates your concern for their bank accounts but it's not needed. How is this any different than having a hobby like collecting cards, shoes, stamps, coins, etc.? I spent $10 at release and ended up playing around 400 games this year, which in my opinion was absolutely worth it.

You don't like it and that's fine, but being condescending about it at every opportunity is unnecessary.

Also, this particular glitch has a huge effect on UT. Most of the players in the game can be bought by people who play casually now. The upgraded cards aren't worth it because of the chemistry glitch and had everyone known that there would be no incentive to buy packs. This isn't one of the risks of buying packs.

Re: FIFA Ultimate Team Chemistry Glitch Reveals Mode Could be Broken, Title Update Co

UPDATE: (7-1): EA has posted another update, as they investigate the fitness and chemistry issues being reported, another title update is coming...

Our development teams have continued to investigate the reports of potential chemistry and fitness inconsistencies within FIFA Ultimate Team in FIFA 16, and we want to provide you with an update.

Our work has shown that there appear to be some differences in how fitness and chemistry apply to some FUT items. The differences appear to be the same for all FUT fans, but only applying to some FUT items, so we’re making some changes to ensure the attributes are being applied consistently across all items in the game.

To do that, we’re working on a title update for FIFA 16 on PC, Xbox and PlayStation platforms, and will be deploying it as soon as possible. We’ll continue to keep you updated on timing.

We appreciate the help from the FUT community and ongoing dialogue across channels like YouTube, the forums, and r/FIFA. We hear you and your interest in better understanding how FUT works, and as we move towards the launch of FIFA 17, we will be sharing more about the deeper mechanics of Ultimate Team.

We’ll be in touch again when we know the target date for the upcoming FIFA 16 update. Thank you.

Love how FUT would get a patch this late in the calendar with all seasons over, Copa over, and EUROs almost finished.. If you point out any other problems in career mode it is always too late in the year and wait for FIFA17 as the devs are busy working on next years title. Just a joke they would still leave a bunch of errors from other modes yet FUT one comes up and they are all over it. Great job EA in treating FUT players better than club , pro or career mode players our $60 not worth the same??

Nope, because as offline players we pay $60. A FUT player pays $60+whatever they spend on FUT. It's an ongoing revenue stream for them and this whole debacle puts that in jeopardy. No sane business would ignore this, regardless of where they are in their development cycle.

I wonder if there will end up being a class action out of this.

Don't see how they can avoid at this point.
