Hi everyone, since the time 2k16 dropped I worked on a massive roster overhaul, re-rating every player throughout the season, keeping up with transactions, overhauling all the sigs and badges and everything. Countless hours were put into this project. A buddy of mine and I just recently completed the next part of our project, adding all of the drafted players as well as a good amount of undrafted free agents with more still being added. I am also going to keep up with free agency moves and transactions as they happen. I've gotten quite a bit of feedback and downloads from this roster but as it was only posted in our draft class forum, I figured I'd finally make a forum in the roster section for everyone to see. This roster plays very well, quite a bit better than 2k's base roster and I've received lots of feedback stating this is one of the best ones people have played with and I appreciated all feedback that is given to make this more enjoyable for my fellow basketball fans. If anyone is interested in the roster and is on PS4, it is under my PSN name, CelticsFan_03, it is named 2k17 Roster. I also have full 150 man 2016, 2017, and 2018 draft classes that teondaddy1 and I have worked on all season long listed under my PSN name as well. The 2016 class is pretty much finalized, we only have a couple international draft picks to add to it. The 2017 class is pretty much finalized as well, we just have a few players that need tendency adjustments made to them.
As for my roster, like I said we have quite a few UFA's in it and we put them on the teams they signed with, but ONLY if they signed guaranteed deals. Those who only signed for the summer league are still in the FA pool. We have a few players left that need to be updated and we're still adding UFA's so keep checking for updates. I will also be removing retired players as they retire and putting them in the euroleague teams so that people can still use them if they want to, they just have to switch them back into the roster. I will also be keeping up on free agency moves as they occur, most players are currently still on their teams from this last season (a few had to be released to make room for drafted players) but they will be moved to the teams they sign with and have updated contracts as they sign. After free agency is over, I will be going through and updating EVERYONE'S contracts to make them have the correct lengths etc.
All feedback is welcome regarding this roster. If anyone notices any issues, any players that should be rated higher than they are etc, please feel free to let me know! I am not a person that will bash someone for pointing out any flaws that are found, I want to make this as enjoyable and as accurate as possible for everyone. Thanks!
