After reading the livid posts at shownation and some of those here, I'm definitely staying away from these...SDS has done a crummy job as of late with their decision making...Crummy being very nice about it...

After reading the livid posts at shownation and some of those here, I'm definitely staying away from these...SDS has done a crummy job as of late with their decision making...Crummy being very nice about it...

The packs are better than previous weeks'. The angry posts at TSN are from people who didn't understand what they were getting into. There's one dude who actually quoted what the packs offer - three guaranteed silvers! - and said a) he decided to buy packs since he was "guaranteed all this stuff" and his "odds were through the roof" and then b) he BOUGHT STANDARD PACKS expecting the odds of golds and diamonds to be higher! Then, he raged that he didn't get anything in his standard packs, and only got the guaranteed silvers in his All-Star packs.

And, let me be clear - the packs are hot garbage. By offering guaranteed silvers, they are better than previous weeks' packs, which had no guarantees at all. Anybody who is prepared to take on a ton of risk for a small chance at a valuable card, including one of the new FBs, should buy these packs. Anybody who is going to be angry if the packs are not better than "three guaranteed silvers" should not buy packs labeled as "three guaranteed silvers".

You're better off buying the 10 pack bundle this week because you're guaranteed silver with them as well and better chance of getting gold or higher in return.

All packs have terrible odds, that's just how it is and people just have to accept that. If they gave better cards more often then no cards would have any value. I opened three 20 packs of standard packs today and the only thing I got was Daniel Murphy, Drew Pommeranz and a flashback Nori Aoki. Absolutely terrible, but I knew that was the probably outcome, still a lot of fun though
