I just threw my first no hitter

Ive never thrown a no no before, im just wondering how rare it is? Ive been using dynamic difficulty since April, so it was around All Star +.

Congrats! I have only thrown 1 with Jacob Turner and was 1 out away with JVerlander before giving up a triple. I also usually play AllStar level but this year switched to HOF. Been playing The Show since 2008 and usually play a full season. So pretty rare lol

Congrats I pitched 2 no hitters last year (1 perfect game) and saw one simulated by my RttS guy, but I have otherwise not seen many (He was a 99 overall in he early 2020s so I didn't have the luxury of striking out too many players from today). I would often carry them into to 7 or 8th innings with Cliff Lee back in 13 but could never complete them. They are fairly rare and you'll probably not see another for a while.

Congrats! I have been so close about 5 times in my Show career(07-present). I have given up a hit in the ninth every time. The one that hurt the most was the 2 out hit given up.

I've thrown 2 this year on Legend against the Yetis in DD mode. One with Thor and the other with Nola. Still have yet to throw a perfect game this year. I think back in 2010 The Show I threw a perfect game with Oliver Perez when he was on the Mets. That was on All Star

first off - congrats!

i've only thrown one no-hitter in my Show lifetime and oddly enough, it was on the Vita version of MLB The Show 14 (which i loved, btw!) - matt garza took it upon himself to shut down the yankees and lead us to victory/history.

Speaking of no nos, another one against the Yetis in Legend, this time with Pomeranz. I think adding that 4th pitch change up is a difference maker. Had a perfect game for 5 innings until the ump blew a 3-2 ball call when the ball was clearly painted on the corner. I proceeded to walk another in the same inning.

Finally got my first one last night. It was a perfect game with Gio Gonzalez and what made it extra perfect was it came in the decisive game of the World Series in the online league my buddy and I played (he lost out in the first round). Only bad thing is there was no celebration whatsoever since it is set to fast play.

In all the games I've played on The Show, I've only ever thrown one No Hitter. It was with Matt Garza when he was a Cub. I've had a decent amount of 1 Hitters.

On a somewhat related note, I just broke my record for Strikeouts in a game. Previously it was 17 with Shark (oddly enough, like two games before the Garza No-no). But the other day, I struck out 19 Brewers with Arrieta. Didn't even realize it, since I was listening to stuff on Youtube and just playing. I figured I was close to 17, but didn't realize I had passed it with 2 Ks in the 9th.

Edit: Oddly enough, last night I just broke my 19 K record. I was playing a random Astros vs. Yankees game and was using Lance McCullers. I struck out 21 guys with 1 BB and 4 hits.

I mentioned this in another thread, but with my RTTS pitcher in the Royals AA team, threw a perfect game. Had a hard time pitching the last pitches because my hand was shaking! But I was really astonished that a perfect game gives you no extra training points at all - a shut out does, a complete game does, a quality start does but a perfect game give you nothing. What's the logic behind that?

Just threw my first no-hitter!

I've played The Show for years, since the beginning, and I'm pretty sure this is the first time I've thrown a 9 inning no-hitter. The only thing that kept it from a perfect game was Ortiz missing a popup in foul territory.

My DD team vs the Phillies, Danny Duffy the pitcher. 0 hits, 0 walks, 19 SO

Managed a perfect game last night in game 2 of the World Series

Same pitcher got absolutely shelled in the NLCS in his last start.
