So wait, for what we've gotten the past 8-10 years, and now that we have practice squads, full editing of players, full GM mode back, live ticker, and a new commentary team, you're LESS hyped??

Forgive me for being thoroughly confused.

Besides the new commentary, none of the other stuff would get me hyped anyway. Not saying Madden 17 is gonna suck or no one should be happy or hyped, it's just for me personally, this game has given me no incentive to be hyped.....

Everything just looked smooth and nothing wonky stood out. Player movement looked good I thought. Just my observation.

I respect that. I just wish it was more footage we hadn't seen before as well. I feel like 80% of that was taken from videos released already. The JJ Watt catch was a nice animation though. Also love the juke stuff as I stated before. Just wish they overhauled the base running animation to go along with it. The transition from those smooth realistic animations to that other stuff just doesn't match up....

I agree sage. Still some transition work to be done for sure.

I'm really excited for the new jukes though. I couldn't juke anyone to save my life in 16.

If you can even call those jukes, lol. These animations kill what was there previously. The new spins and jukes are definitely the best thing I've seen from the footage released so far. I hope they can be pulled off without holding modifiers and such. That old stuff needs to be totally removed.

I must say this does look promising! After Madden 25,Madden 15, Madden 16 I had given up! I still see those same animations and people falling down without actually been tackled. I still probably will not buy until months after learned my lesson! Also notice they still have not fixed the ankle tape! Someone definitely needs to google what that looks like!

Looked incredibly smooth. Hope it's like that throughout the rest of the game. QB throwing animations still make me cringe especially, along with the weird wonky colliding when getting up after tackles and in between plays

I did like what I saw from this trailer, the jukes look smooth.

The hype slowed after E3, too much time in between with news from May onward based on how I feel.

If they keep on releasing these developers diaries on a weekly basis until release, the hype could keep inching forward for me.

U think the jukes look better because they added animations to the defenders, I wonder? I think they look good, too. But, I'm just wondering if that's what makes them 'pop' now - defenders actually being juked. I def like seeing defenders ankles broken.
