This was the first wwe game I've picked up in many years. One thing I'm surprised isn't in the CAW features is importing music. MLB does it with sounds of the show. Would vastly improve creation features

MLB the Show is also the one that figured out how to do it ( probably from the devs themselves). And why give away secrets that are exclusive to your game?

If it's a system feature - as is the case on the PS4 now - all 2K has to do to figure out how to do it is consult first-party PS4 SDK documentation from SCEA. They don't have to talk to Sony San Diego at all to get custom music in, though they might reach out to them for some high-level pointers.

That said, the ability to implement custom music and actually scheduling dev time for implementing it are two different things. It's on 2K at this point to get us the features we want to see in the game.

Does XBOX One have custom music support in the way needed for custom entrance music? Not being able to implement on both consoles would probably kill the feature right away.

It's a shame both Sony and Microsoft got away from that this generation, but the current implementation of streaming off an external hard drive or Spotify or whatever else is good enough for 99% of games. How many games really rely on being able to store music on the hard drive and cue it up at specific in-game moments? WWE, NBA2K, and The Show are all I can think of.

For me it's all about Universe and gameplay. The gameplay was better last year and I hope they can improve on that. Now on the other hand Universe mode hasn't really changed that much and that's the only mode I play. I'm hoping they add a lot to Universe mode this year because if not I don't think I'll get this on day 1.

Needs a return of GM Mode. I found doing that was way more fun than actually playing matches.

Something tells me this year will be pretty much the same as last year, with just a fresh coat of paint, so 2K can get more of our money......
My guess, 6.5/10 overall rating (wish it weren't true though)

I feel the biggest problem with this game, and really every wrestling game in this regard, is that it misses what it's representing. The goal isn't to win. That's all predetermined in the real thing. The goal is to put on a performance. Making a fighting game with a health bar is never going to feel like wrestling. The match rating thing in career is a start. But I like how the Stone Cold story works. The ending is already set. You're job is to hit all the key spots. What about a career mode that focuses on putting on great matches to increase popularity and earn a push? Let a player map out the big spots they want to hit for themselves and their opponent and task that player with carrying it out. Design boring matches and your popularity with the fans doesn't improve. Fail to hit your spots and botch moves and you don't get that push from Creative. That sounds like a pro wrestling game to me...

You should have choices after the match like in here comes the pain like they did it if im not mistaken it was Disrespect (attack ) ,respect (Shake hands) or Celebrate
