NHL 17 Create-a-Team

Noticed not too many people posting about that (i know the focus is hut and eashl for most of you) but did any of you play around with the create a team feature? what designs did you make? lets see them!

if i get the game, i might rebrand a couple of teams. i was playing around with rebranding the canucks.

This is the biggest feature to me. I can't wait to bring a team back to Hartford. Hoping the Whalers stuff is in the game again.
I can't figure out if I wanna do relocation, but I'll probably just start with created teams because I also need Quebec back in (losing TB and FLA) And I'll probably put Arizona in Vegas.

Are we able to import our own logos or anything like that? I want to try to create the Iceland uniforms from D2 Mighty Ducks

While that would be absolutely amazing please remember this is EA we're talking about here. We'd be lucky to see that in NHL 27, if ever.

I wanna know if they ever decided to bring back the Thrashers logo. They seem to always purposefully exclude it. Can anyone confirm or deny that?

Haha, very good point, but this was included in NCAA Football so im still hopeful lol

This is the feature I look forward to the most.
I cannot fathom how they did not have it in 15' and 16'.
In NBA 2k16 I used hours fiddling with creating teams for my own custom league. That feature was deep and created to fully customize your team (just look at all of the creations over in the NBA forums).
Love the stuff you can do in NBA 2k16, really do. However: Im not really the biggest NBA-gamer.
So it was a bit of a mixed blessing for me.

I think having the option to finally customize teams AND stadiums in NHL 17 is a good step forward for the series.

Looking forward to making new versions of the Whalers, the Nordiques and to make some home-made teams as well.

you choose from NHL logos, alternate logos and vintage logos. then they have some EA made ones, and then 3 Fonts that you can choose letter logos.

it'd be dope if they included every leagues logos in there.

NBA 2k16's create a team feature should be the bar at this point, hopefully next year they steal a lot more from that franchise.

Hearing we can't use created teams in franchise? That's a killer for me.

Answer:Create Team allows people to create teams and take them into Play Now and Franchise Mode. As well in the EASHL you will be able to unlock customization and then start to build your team identity using the create team tools. In Hockey Ultimate Team you will not be able to create teams and take them into the mode.

I really hope that someday they get on the MLB The Show level of customization. I love being able to edit gear, and even if the same general gloves are shared by a team, it would be nice to edit what type of gloves your team wears, and not just have the game default to certain patterns. Maybe I want to change up our CCM gloves to have a yellow cuff, or maybe I want to just go full blackout gloves and only have white lettering.
