There's a completed historic team roster that would be good as your base. I've even updated it with the 2014, 2015 and 2016 champions.
I've an idea for a roster that would be cool. Perhaps you can take my updates and help as i'm no good at creating players.
It would be a roster of 30-34 teams that made the NBA finals. Would be good to do a 30 team MyLeague full of teams that made the finals. I'll post my notes, so you can see what I'm thinking.Last edited by Grazz1; 08-11-2016, 02:32 PM.Comment

Teams are in groups of 5 - by era, which is cool.
It works out that say the 87 Lakers could meet the 01 Lakers in the finals, or 91 vs 96 Bulls, 86 vs 0 Celtics, 99 Spurs vs 14 Spurs, 89 Pistons vs 04 Pistons and so on.
I've finished 2014, 2015, 2016 champs and updated 2011 Mavs and 2012 Thunder to a degree.
Divisions would be by year (meaning you'll notice the teams are in groups of 5). All historic teams have a 12-13 man roster updated already.

Just tidied up my rushed post from this morning.
In short the roster I have only needs changes to 72 Knicks, 91 Blazers, 85 Sixers and 98 Spurs to turn them into their NBA Finals versions. Then it's use 07 Cavs to fill out a 30 team NBA Finals My League, or add in the 2011 Mavs champs.
Most teams (22 I think) won the NBA title, several made multiple finals as a group and a few made just 1.

It's missing just a few players on 73 Knicks, 83 Sixers, 99 Spurs.
11 Mavs and 12 Thunder optional replacements, missing 8 players in total on that and then we've 32 former champs and finalists to pick from.Comment

Hey, busy few days. What's the name of the file, or your user id?
I've found a roster called more historic but I don't think it's yours. It's pretty decent, has 09 magic, 10 lakers, 11 mavs, 12 thunder, I think 07 spurs, recent cavs and warriors. There's a few players missing (sheed isn't on 00 portland or 04 pistons).

Is the #24 version 2008-2010 style Kobe on this game? I see 24 Kobe in the Friction trailer, and he certainly is on the cover of the game, so why wouldn't he be in the actual game? But everything I hear the only classic teams added were the 1992 Dream Team and those other country teams...which would mean no classic Lakers beyond 2001.
But how could we not have a Black Mamba 24 Kobe when he's on the cover and the trailer?
