Re: NBA 2K17 Screenshot - Paul George
We realize LeBron IS built like a damn tank right? If you want a player to show the problems with 2Ks body types and looking like superheroes, LeBron isn't exactly the guy because he's like the one dude they nail because he's built like a damn superhero.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Screenshot - Paul George
It's way past due that 2k gets a new art department...or at least the people who are responsible for body types.
How hard is it to look at a real pic of a player-compare it to an in game model-and realize, "yeah, he's definitely still too thick...we should probably correct that".
I mean, just look at PG's waist and chest.
Unbelievable.Comment

Again slightly thicker...far game breaking, and a far cry from what it used to look like.Last edited by ksuttonjr76; 08-15-2016, 09:24 PM.Comment

Perhaps some people think the "other" game did it better?

Yeah I give 2k the benefit of the doubt on a lot of things but not this.
From my experience too many players are huge, more than what they need to be.
Harrison Barnes has a neck like a dinosaur
Larry Bird is stocky with short arms
Paul George looks like he's been hanging with the Olympic rowing team, dudes traps are sticking up and his back is all huge.
..but its little difference?
I need to see more because this isn't encouraging from how its been.
Showing me a half a player model spruced up pic doesn't either
If they plan on screen shotting us to death then man...................
Anyway I want to know if we can edit body types, how much ability to we have to edit the player models. Is it the same old edit and CAP feature?
This is the kind of thing that's important in the long run because it would negate what our different eyes see.
I just dont wanna look at another year of Dwight Howard with a Wide Box frame and fat legs with ankles 1 inch long. It looks terrible.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Screenshot - Paul George
Making no commentary on the actual picture in question here, but I feel it needs to be pointed out.
If you're going to post pictures of Paul George for comparison with this screen, then at the very least make them current/recent pictures of the man. Kyle Lowry just went from a pudgy dude to a cut little dude in one offseason. If you see a picture of Paul and his jersey has the NBA logo on the front of the jersey, then it's a picture from at least 3 years ago since we've already had two years of the NBA logo being on the back of the jerseys now.Comment

Look at the ratio between his arm & the rest of his body in that pic, then compare it to here:
2K's models don't represent the lean build of these dudes, & it stands out when you play the game.
Game breaking? No.
Is it glaringly noticeable when you know who the players are? Little bit.Comment
