34 Guide

Is there a good guide or explanation of how to run a 34 defense on Madden? I've given it my best shot probably the last 3 years but it was just too difficult to be effective. I'm hoping with the improved gap assignments and zone coverages, it can be more easily implemented as a base defense. I was hoping to track down a guide somewhere on the Internet to familiarize myself with some of the formations and unique plays for each.

i think wait until we see how m17 plays 3-4. if the NT takes double teams thats a start, gap assignment is going to be important so id hold fire for a bit

Got the feeling after playing the past 2 days that the 43 will be the standard this year. With the 34, I saw a lot of hesitation on the LBs as they rushed in. Should log 20 hours this weekend in just gameplay and see if it stays like that.

I've noticed the same thing for the 43 though. Guys look like they start to fill gaps but then stop,and wait to give the rb a chance to hit the hole
