Re: NBA 2K17 Trailer - Friction
Yes! Atmosphere. That's the word. I've retired 2K16 in anticipation for 17 so I've been playing Live recently and man does it sound good on my surround set. If 2K can get even close to that I'd be a happy camper.Comment

I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.
I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: NBA 2K17 Trailer - Friction
With all reports indicating that the upgraded PS4, codename Neo set to launch this year and that all games releasing after September will require Neo improvements(better framerate, effect etc), what improvements do you think a 2K17 Neo version would have?
Better lighting? more responsive controls?Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Trailer - Friction
How do people get mad at others for voicing there opinions about visuals in a thread about a trailer? I personally am not impressed with this game visually any more.
Gameplay needed lots of work, so we'll see how much that improved. I can almost gaureentee people complaining about complaints will have several minor gameplay complaints.
Some guy's always have the 2K blinders on and are content with anything they show.PSN: ForeverVersatile

Why do you have to have "blinders" on if you are happy with the game? How do people get mad at others for voicing there opinions about visuals in a thread about a trailer? I personally am not impressed with this game visually any more.

You can dislike aspects of the game and that can be valid. Why cant someone validly like those aspect of the game? I loved 2k16 and many of the issues I see people complaining about either dont effect me or are ones I dont agree with. That doesnt mean that I'm blind to any flaws in the game.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Trailer - Friction
This.Back to the trailer, I'm really hoping that this symbolizes a move towards more "little things" and a living world. The t shirt cannons and dunk teams are just that. Plus we know that there's gonna ba arena specific lighting. I hope arena custom arena sounds are back. I still have that 2K12 set on my computer. Most importantly I hope they really blow out the sound; nets, rims, crowd... Everything. If they can take and use player audio then they should be able to do the same thing with arena sounds and chants.
I just come from a different view when I look at the trailer. When I watched the trailer, I wasnt looking at leg or ankle size or haircuts. I looked at the new presentation elements and thought they looked good. I then looked at things liked the crowd reaction and noticed that looked improved. I looked at the bench reaction scene and thought that looked cool.
Then I thought "that crowd reaction and bench reaction doesnt mean **** if they still have issues with the crowd audio" so my hype calmed down a lot.
Like I said before, those audio issues are issues that affect every game. I'm more concerned about that than one player's calf size or if one player looks 10 lbs over weight.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 Trailer - Friction
Not true for me. last gen i was of the 2K can do no wrong people. I can't do that anymore. This has been one of the more disappointing games on Next/current gen to me.PSN: ForeverVersatile

I don't know the answer for any of these, and I don't plan on upgrading. With that said if the regular old PS4 can't handle highlights and the NEO can, then I will upgrade. With all reports indicating that the upgraded PS4, codename Neo set to launch this year and that all games releasing after September will require Neo improvements(better framerate, effect etc), what improvements do you think a 2K17 Neo version would have?

I have no problem with what anyone likes about the game, i'm only stating my dislikes. I never asked or told anyone not to like the game visually or gameplay wise.
I liked a few things about the trailer, but my dislikes outweighed them.Last edited by ForeverVersatile; 08-23-2016, 10:17 AM.PSN: ForeverVersatile

Re: NBA 2K17 Trailer - Friction
And that's completely fine. To me it's been one of the most promising games on the current gen.
Both answers are fine. I think it's unfair to assume it's because we have "blinders" on.Comment
