I like this default slider approach and will be monitoring this thread.

Is it possible this approach will work with All-Madden? All-Pro just becomes way too easy after the first season

Also, why not use accelerated clock and 15 minute quarters? They fixed the accelerated clock issue this year and you get a realistic amount of plays even when simming
