Can't Get Access to the Game

Couldn't find a better place, so I made a new thread..

Everything worked fine yesterday. I wake up today, go to play the game, and I get an error message, with a code of 0x803f8007. I plug that into the Xbox Support website, and find a couple of posts on the forums there that suggest reinstalling and restarting the console. So I uninstalled the game, but can't reinstall, because it says that Madden 17 Deluxe Edition is unavailable. Is anybody else having this problem, or know a solution?

Did you try a hard reset? I'm guessing you did, but if not, try it.

I looked back at my credit card transaction history, since I preordered it from the Xbox store, and saw that it never was charged, or my card was declined... So I bought the basic edition instead of the deluxe edition. Shouldn't make a difference. My CFM was Cloud based, and MUT is already saved.

I started experiencing this problem today as well.. same boat. pre ordered and have not yet been charged. I tried reinstalling and hard reset, both were unsuccessful. I can't seem to find anything online about this error code yet either.

I can't figure out why it would let me play for a day without having been charged.

So i just signed into Microsoft and it shows my xbox live 12 month purchase and my ea access purchase but my madden preorder shows up as canceled, which i did all at the same time. i guess i just have to buy it again. it is strange that they allow you to play it after the release date without having paid for it. i'll have to try to buy it again. At least i know.

That's what I ended up doing. It works fine, but takes an hour to download.
