CFM- Do longer games = more XP?

It would stand to reason that if the games are longer, there are more chances to fulfill goals for players.

    Is this true?

Also would it not allow you to progress your players faster with more XP?

The down side to this could also mean that you are causing sever salary cap head aches down the road, because a lot of your players are studs?

Season goals do not scale by minutes played so in theory yes it'll be harder to shorter-minute players to hit their season goals. Individual in-game stuff isn't nearly as important.

What quarter length is the game designed to be played with this year? I thought that they aimed for 7 minute quarters - has this changed because of the addition of Play the Moment?

If you're doing PTM I advise settings that will get you 120-130 plays. I do 13 minute qs with 15 seconds left on play clock.

I haven't gone over all the season goals, but they seem to be scaled for a similar number of plays.

What about if you're not doing play the moment? I'm guessing that if you want to hit 120-130 plays you'll need the full 15 minutes?

8 minutes without accel clock if you call plays fast or 13 min/15 second playclock should do the trick.

Thanks I assume there aren't any issues with run heavy CPU teams using the first option is there? Last year I found the Seahawks would routinely eat up almost an entire quarter on a single drive! Made me start to think that the playclock ought to scale according to quarter length!

I've only played one full game and it was 12 minute quarters with 16 second runoff, and the XP gain ranged from 250 to 600 if I am not mistaken, which seems to be more than it was in the past.

Yea I usually do 9 minutes without accel clock and if I hike the ball as soon as I'm able to, I'll get 120-130 plays.

If you really want to play shorter minutes and not worry about xp, you could also try setting the xp % to 200...we have options this year
