NBA 2K17 My Career Player Type/Badges Discussion

So from the Trailer we have seen that they changed the player creation and it "seems" to be more balanced then ever before.

Here are the badges that I have seen in the Trailer(Post More If I missed any):

    - Dificult Shots
    - Tireless Scorer
    - Mid-Range Deadeye
    - Deep Range Dedeye
    - Catch&Shoot
    - Deffensive Stopper
    - Hustle Rebounder
    - Putback King

What player Type will you build? I'll be a "P'G 6'3 Sharpshooter" Like Curry

"Choose your archetype" is some kind of peculiar wording. Makes me think that there might be something more to your player and the 150 skill slots shown in the prelude trailer.

Also, most of the presented NBA player comparisons are called two-way stars, something that's pretty hard to achieve if a "Lockdown Defender" has every offensive stat capped at 7/10 out of 25.

I see a ankle breaker badge in there. Maybe no more badges for each move, And just one universal badge?

6'3 PG: Sharshooter or 2 Way6'7 PG: Playmaker
        6'10 SF (main): Point Forward
        7'0 - 7'3 C (main): Post Star.
I always have multiple players because the change of pace is fun and you never know what position the squad needs.

I think you can earn all the badges but only can upgrade those 5.

I want to make a Draymond Green type of power forward, hopefully the Point Forward option for Power Forward has a higher rebounding cap, if not it's basically impossible to do it.

If 2K really wants to live up to the Sports RPG title, then archetype is just the starting point. Like, RPG games start with Tanks, DPS, Support, etc. but with the right allocation of attribute points, you can be a unique character that can solo enemies. But that is just extremely wishful thinking from a dev to make in just one year.

Hopefully the release the rest of the Archetypes. Im sure these wont be the same for ever positions since all the showed was a Small Forward.

For instance Im sure the PS will have a pure point, pass first, etc

What worries me is all the stat caps, I know it's for online but why not tone down skills for online, nobody wants to make a sub par player for my career. Seen on the achievements you can buy and equip signature skills wonder if that means we have set badges and can equip others?

I know having to earn badges last year made me play a lot longer

Still looking forward to this new mycareer path

They really need to separate online MyPark/ProAM from MyCareer. I don't care about single player, let us create multiplayer characters.

You'd probably need to make him a shot creator to make him more like curry. Then you get handles, and inside scoring

Are the players really subpar? It seems pretty easy to have a player average a triple double...

Only because the players are being user controlled, some skill factors on certain positions in 2k16 meant defending platings like lebron with 80 speed compared to the small forwards caped speed of like 65 or something was mission impossible

Been thinking about it, it would be ideal if it was two play styles put together, eg glass cleaner and another one to pick like glass cleaner, yeah you might get people that pick glass cleaner and sharpshooter but that's just going to go against them really isn't it?
