    Madden 17 Realistic Trade Discussion

So this goes pretty much the same route as the MLB The Show Forum. Let's try to keep this to just realistic trades.

One I'm thinking is LG Ronald Leary & SS JJ Wilcox from Dallas to Cleveland for DE Desmond Bryant.

    Personal Rules
    1. No trading for rookies
    2. No trading for player who just signed extension or are in the 1st year of their new deal.

Which team are you in that trade?

As Dallas run a 4-3 (Tampa 2) & based on in-game schemes, Desmond Bryant is a 3-4 run stopper. He doesn't seem to fit their style of having the Ends be pass rushers.
    Football: Manchester United
    MLB: Cleveland Indians
    NBA: Miami Heat
    NFL: Cleveland Browns

      Ahh good point. I forgot that he's a 3-4 End and not a 4-3 End. I'm Dallas.

Firstly, it's nice to see a realistic trade thread, so tired of seeing 'braggers' boasting about fleecing the AI but I guess it is their game after all.

        A few options I could see based on who you are willing to give up and who has a surplus of Ends they could give up to get the required positions;

Dolphins - JJ Wilcox for Jason Jones? They need a decent FS and have depth at the end position. Both in last years of contract so could be contract years for both, I know there is 5 years age difference so an added pick from the Dolphins could be added (only if they were to sign him long term?).

Falcons - Trade both or one for one of their DE's? They have 6 above 70 rating. Leary would be an upgrade at G depending on scheme, JJ Wilcox would be better than their current FS at the moment depending on the route they wish to go with FS Allen.

Bears - Sam Acho. This one would mean changing his position to DE but the Bears have 4 LOLB/ROLB higher rated than him and could do with either the G or FS for depth (Leary would start).

Out of those I like Sam Acho (i'm a UT fan). Leary could easily slide into the LG starting spot and Wilcox could start at SS. I would probably trade both, I think it's better to overpay than underpay.

Love the Chicago Scenario. Even though Guard is not truly a weakness on the Chicago O-Line, depth as a whole is. I could see Leary starting for Whitehair while the rookie gets up to NFL Speed.

I am in year 3 of my Browns Franchise here are a few trades that I have made:

Year 1: Joe Haden to New Orleans for a 4th round pick.
Year 2: Duke Johnson Jr to New England for Duron Harmon and Justin Coleman.
Year 3: Joel Bitonio to Tampa Bay for a 2nd round pick.

Does anyone pick up Stephen Tulloch and Phil Loadhart before week 2 to trade them off for picks? I do!

I actually traded Tulloch and a 2nd round pick for Darius Slay (Great CB, cheap in value on long term contract)

This is a realistic trades thread. Darius Slay is a borderline elite corner and he's like 25. A 30 year old decent linebacker and a 2nd round pick wouldn't come close to getting him irl.

Please read the thread title before you come in and brag about fleecing the AI.

There is an alternate thread on the forums for those type of trades.

Technically, it is realistic. I've seen worse happening in real life. Slay is not "elite", but is one of the best CBs in the game as we speak. They do need help in MLB area, Tulloch was a former Lion, and let's be perfectly honest here, Lions season is looking bleak. Tulloch and a 2nd rounder is more than fair for Slay.

Actually it's not realistic because you signed Tulloch and traded him 2 weeks later.

                            Actually it isn't.

You have signed Tulloch from free agency which the Lions could have done THEMSELVES. So really you've traded a 2nd round pick for an 89 rated CB (#9 in the game) with a friendly contract and 'quick' development trait. Not realistic at all.

That's what Tampa got for Aquib Talib when they traded him to New England.
