Re: Many NBA 2K17 Player Ratings & Some Face Scans Revealed
For God's sake. This is blatant disrespect to those of us who spend majority of our time playing with classic teams. I've been buying 2k since the Dreamcast and have bought every single edition each year. I was supporting 2K when everyone else was drooling over Madden, I was buying NFL 2k. I bought all the College Hoops games and even bought All Property Football 2K8. I have also bought the WWE 2k games. I have aided in 2K's financial success since 1999 and have been a faithful customer each year. I don't really touch MyPlayer at all and rarely play online. I understand that there is a huge demographic that does, but consumers like myself deserve to be catered to as well, not just pushed to the side. I've been saying this for a while but if they offered DLC classic NBA content along the lines of what was available in 2k12, with more care put into accuracy in player models, accessories, signature style animations and filters, then I feel that there is a market that would be willing to pay for that level of detail but with current generation graphics and capabilities. I'm glad that there are even classic teams added at all, but if they offered DLC on the level of what they offer to the MyPlayer crowd or even the level of detail and accuracy that they put into the current NBA players in the game, then it would be extremely profitable to the team at 2k and extremely appreciated.Comment

That shot of John Wall looks crazy real! Kind of scary. Based on videos and screens seen. Looks like the created players didn't get much love in the hair and actual body type department.
However that 75 point bulleted list on the home page is quite impressive and takes a bit of edge off year to year saves. Hopefully I can find a player that looks like me in one of those other leagues and rename and play 80 seasons.Proud member of the 0.04%Comment

These shots of Paul George and especially Kyrie Irving should've been the Instagram released pics. Look great!
John Wall steals the show though. Wow.Comment

It seems that players are with thick and short legs only in Menu/Edit Player, because in these gamplays and last screenshots they seem long and thin.Last edited by renan_23rossi; 09-01-2016, 12:00 PM.Comment

I've seen a screen grab from one of the leaked Nike shoe videos on Instagram that shows LeBron in a side profile in the edit a player screen, and he looks pretty spot on as far as player likeness and bodytype.Comment

Bron looks great as you were saying in the other thread. With how good the players look in this game you start to notice how trash the body types were in 2k16. I'm glad they nipped that in the bud.Comment

I noticed that to. They look different in game then they do in the Menu/Edit Player. That has always been the case as far as I can remember.Comment
