Re: NBA 2K17 supports HDR for those of you with an Xbox One S and a TV that supports
Chances are, they've already been working on the Neo. Depending on when Sony intend to launch it, it could wind up being a thing with 2K17.
Guess we'll learn more next week.aka Lesh0430Comment

The PC version has had 4K res for a while...
I.e. the higher resolutions are already in the game.
Next XBOX, NEO, etc will all have it. All it means is a much higher res will be available...which is already there.Comment

No not higher res, HDR, high dynamic range. There is a difference.Benjamin D of Insufficient FundsComment

All that is is a lower substitute for 4K though? I.e. Not real 4K. I guess what I mean is that if they can do 'real' 4K already, the rest should be straight forward. I could be wrong

HDR is more natural colors, especially with lighting.

That's not what HDR is, as you can have 4K HDR content. HDR is more in reference to the colors.aka Lesh0430Comment
