How to Throw a Fade in End Zone

I've been trying and trying but can't seem to figure out how to get an actual high face to the corner of the end zone. I'm playing as the Falcons so it would be really nice to figure out how to toss one up for Julio when I'm on the goal line.

Seems like everytime I do it it gets picked off.

    Any help?

Same as any other Madden. The hot route is up on the RS. Tap their button so you lob it up

I know how to call the route and that you're supposed to tap it. I guess the better way to phrase my question would be anyone having success doing it?

What I do is use the high pass button. It's LB on Xbox 1. I actually don't lob it though. I bullet pass is. Time it right when the receiver gets even and just behind the CB.

          Isn't it LB?

High pass, make sure the receiver is in single coverage without the safety drifting over, and make sure the receiver actually has an advantage over the CB

I loved it in Madden 16, but I haven't really tried it too much in Madden 17 yet. I always used touch pass though rather than bullet. Had great success with the 6'2 receivers. The 6'6 receivers in the game would have a field day.

Or put the 6'7 TE in motion to the outside and let him go up and get it everytime ala Gronk.

                      Unless you're throwing to Gronk.

the same thing, hot route your wr to run a fade and then your receiver should have an advantage before you throw it and to get the best success, I hold l1 and the button the receiver is on and that works most of the time.

Re: How to Throw a Fade in End Zone

I have good success on fades to the corner.

Ideally you want to call it when you are between the 5 and 9 yard line.

It is usually better to call a play with a fade route built in. Yes you can hot route to a fade, but the dropback could throw things off if it is different. If you audible call an initial play like quick slants or something with no dropback.

Check the coach stick to ensure that your WR has a height advantage. He also needs good spectacular catch in order to go up and get the ball.

It works better against press coverage. If the corner is playing off he already has his desired position. Though playing off coverage at that field position is rare.

Immediately after the snap watch the playside safety. If he is moving toward your WR I would immediately abort mission.

Some throw a bullet, but I prefer a gentle lob. Hold down the button for a high pass and aim for the pylon with your RS (don't actually know if that helps, but I do it). I generally aim to throw the ball right as my target starts his pseudo juke towards the corner. If he reaches the corner and has to wait for the ball it will probably fail. If the pass is too soon it will probably sail out of the endzone.

                          I got a
6'5" rookie who is a monster in the redzone. Good times.

L1 and Bullet pass lead towards the sideline

Same way described for Xbox 1. I find it easier offline, though. A good defensive user will swat it all day.
