Why not both? When you create your player, just have a switch to choose whther it will be Park/ProAM compat. If you don't select it remove the anti-cheese restrictions.Comment

All this is cool but i wanna know can we start over in the prelude? If i make a 6'10 SF Sharpshooter but instead want to make a 6'8 SG Shot Creator can i do it? Comparing attributes is needed.Comment

Re: NBA 2K17 MyCAREER Blog with Senior Producer Ben Bishop
I'm not a fan of the recent linear storylines that take options away from you developing your NBA career the way you envision for yourself-- forced to be undrafted, then a second round pick, and now being steered towards being part of a duo with a player that isn't actually in the NBA.
However it's great to see that they're actually using talented actors and writers. That will up the authenticity and experience so much more, rather than feeling like we're losing some of the best parts of a real "My" Career to service a cornball story someone else dreamed up for me.
My hope is that they'll move towards something more open ended and dynamic in the future while retaining the production values they've achieved. I'd love to have a much more open-world (open-league?) game that's supplemented by a large variety of contextual cutscenes and off-court interactions. And I'd much rather develop a dynamic duo or rivalry with *actual* NBA players.
Of course NBA players aren't the greatest of actors and their time and desire to contribute by recording lines and performing motion capture is limited, but maybe there are ways to deepen this using the clout and relationships they already do have and supplement this with simulated text and twitter conversations. And I'd sacrifice some production quality to actually have a persistent chemistry/rivalry/buddy system that I can play with that affects both off-court trappings and on-court play:
Ball Hog next to Kevin Durant? Watch his mounting frustration build as he considers free agency while still defending you as a teammate.
Do the same next to LeBron without having built an off-court relationship with him? Watch him take subliminal shots at you on Twitter.
Set big picks for Steph Curry all season? Read about him throwing out a shout out during his third MVP speech and fight against you being traded.
And of course all of this is driven by an on-court, in-game chemistry system based on roles, personality, tendencies, and touches that affects every mode, from PNO and MyTeam to MyCareer and MyGM.
There. I just wrote the pitch for 2K18. Get to work, 2K.

Re: NBA 2K17 MyCAREER Blog with Senior Producer Ben Bishop
The way it sounds is its a one time thing, so only one player created.. If this is true, maybe a work around is deleting the save data? Or making a new player on another account.

I was thinking the exact same thing, just trying to get an "official" answer if possible before having to try it myself.Comment

Im almost certain there is no way for them to stop you from deleting your save data and starting over.Comment

Well, if it's linked to your MyPlayer account, then it could be saved server-side like your VC. So, deleting local save data wouldn't matter.Comment
