I'm not sure if this problem was being caused by the court being too small, the player models being too big, or the defender's off-ball movement speed being too fast.

But the result was that the best spots to make a post entry pass in 2K16 Pro Am/MyPark/Team Up were from several feet behind the three point line at the top of the key, or from a few feet inside the half-court line on the wings, which is completely backward from you're taught to do as a guard in basketball.

Will corner and wing shooters finally be able punish defenders who recklessly leave them open to go double team low block post ups in 2K17 Pro Am/MyPark/Team Up?
Our player/court size scale is accurate, so it's not that. I think the main issues were pass speeds and close out speeds being too fast. Both of the latter were tuned and I think this is much less of an issue now.

This thread has been an amazing read, I can see why Mike is so highly respected it's very much appreciated!

It's unfortunate we don't have a game reel or a game recap menu like in the old 2Ks specifically 2K12. The post-game show in 2K16 just features the player of the game and no 2nd half highlights which I'm hoping has been included in 2K17. It always feels strange to transition back to the studio for a show that just covers one player. The pre-game and half-time show is excellent so I hope the post-game has caught up.

Currently automatic. I'll see if we can patch in the Left stick check.
Just to follow up on this. My shots engineer was able to make this change. You'll only get the pump fake fouls if your Left Stick is pushing towards the blocker. It'll be patched in.

While we're talking about these kinds of adjustments, that reminds me:

THANK YOU for making the adjustment last year to scrimmage mode in MyLeague last year to allow users to select their freelance offense. I was the one who asked Czar about that because it gave players in the mode a way to use and learn his offensive sets. He wasn't sure if it could be patched in last cycle and it was.

Never had the opportunity to thank anyone but him directly about that, so thanks to your team on that.

Will we be able to zoom out the 2K camera setting far enough this year so that we can see the entire half court at all times?

When the ball was on the wing or in the corner in 2K16, you couldn't see what was happening on the other side of the court, even if you had the 2K camera zoomed out as far as possible.

Wow that's huge! Thank you so much for looking into that. Do me a favor and thank the shot engineer for taking the time to change that. I really appreciate it. Having user control over the pump fake fouls again is a great thing.

Awesome! Along these same lines, last year when a defender went airborn to block a shot the offensive player would get sucked in a contact animation that didn't allow the ball handler to seamlessly drive by..

Has this suction animation been removed in 2K17? If I get a defender in the air I should be able to drive right by un-evaded.

That would be great. Glad to hear it wasn't a coding issue. I think it's okay to make it a reward within MyCareer.. but outside of it, it should be accessible.

That's great to hear. Wish it would be ala 2K11 where you had to push LS into them and X. Seems more realistic to me instead of just going in their direction.

Mike, thank you for spending time to answer the questions here but could you please answer this as well? Will we be able to edit players in the Dream Team and play them in MyGM/MyLeague? Or will we only be able to play the Dream Team in Quick Game just like in 2K13?

                              1. Are mid air shot adjustments more responsive this year? Is there a way to trigger them on every layup? I could not trigger them in the air consistently in 2k16. They triggered randomly.

Thanks for that draw foul adjustment.

Mike, really cool of you to reach out to fans.

My question: are retro tv filters seen in "kicks" trailer in the game?

Also, any last minute changes to some of the body types? Everyone on team USA looks great, but others...not so much. Thanks.
