Game freezing

Just downloaded the new update. As soon as I did my game froze tree times already. I'm in offline franchise.

Anyone else have this issue yet?

PS4 offline franchise. Two attempts to change coaching schemes, two freezes. Why do I put myself through this every year?

I actually made a post about this but nobody answered. I'm having this issue as well, on CFM offline franchise. I can't even finish a game. When yours freezes does it totally crash and go to the blue screen with the error code CE-34878-0? (I think that's the code) I contacted sony and they gave me a bunch of trouble shoot options. Nothing has worked yet. And honestly I'm not sure if it's the game or my ps4. I'm curious to see if other people have had this problem, and to see if yours totally crashes or freezes on screen within the madden app.

I have never seen this with any other game and I have had a ps4 since it came out. I have no doubt it is the game, not the ps4.

Well shoot, I thought it was my ps4. I even started the process of sending it to Sony. This is a bummer tho, wait forever this game to come out and can't even play it. Offline CFM is all I play.

Curious tho, does yours crash and totally close the app and show the error code on the blue screen? Or does the screen freeze within the game? I hope I'm making sense lol. I literally can't even get through one single game. Crashes everything. Then I'll log back in and fire madden back up and it won't let me resume the game either. I even exchanged my madden disk too. Same thing happened.

I've had probably 40 crashes/freezes happen in CFM alone since launch. One thing I found out is don't change someone on your team's position to QB mid-season. You will not be able to advance to the next week. Pretty insane.

I've crashed quite a few times just trying to do formation subs.

Yes, the blue screen with the error code. I just managed to get through the scheme page, training, and played half a preseason game, simming the second half without an issue. So that was nice.

Same here bud. I'm glad I'm not the only one! I can't even play the game until this is fixed. Right now it's just a giant waste of money.

I'm having that exact issue. I wonder if this is something EA will have to patch? I'm not very tech savvy at all. I just buy the game and play it. I just hope a patch or an update can fix it because I can't even play CFM at all. Madden will be just collecting dust for me until this is fixed. I wonder if Xbox one has the same problem. I'm on a ps4

I'm getting a crash/glitch on PS4. I'll go to start training and it will tell me it isn't ready because focus players aren't selected (when they are) then when I start training it never moves off the loading screen

I've had that too. Seems like even when you turn off the game and restart it'll still say it. Then you're just forced to sim. Which I hate doing. This game is just in rough shape right now for PS4.
