Am I the only person who giggles at the thought of NBA teams in Cincy and Louisville?

The Sacramento Kings used to be in Cincinnati until 45 years ago (and Rochester, NY before that). The ABA's Kentucky Colonels were based in Louisville (and one of the best teams throughout the league's existence).

I for one will be eventually expanding to both locations. I just wonder if I try and stagger the expansions (Year 1 I'm doing the Seattle SuperSonics and an unnamed Las Vegas team; Year 5 it's the Kentucky Colonels and Cincinnati Royals; Year 10 the Buffalo Braves and Nashville Stars, plus rebrands of other teams along the way), will the CPU interfere and start expansion teams on its own, messing with my plans? I really don't want to expand by 6 teams at once just to get them in how I want.

i really wanna do a 15 team fantasy draft league so its just rock solid super teams throughout and really competitive.

What is the difference between custom league & the league expansion? Historic teams can't be added to league expansion?

My guess is:

Custom league allows you to create a league with as many teams as you want for example if you wanted a 20 team league or a 36 team league,

Expansion is if you want to expand the current league from 30.

I don't believe you can put historic teams into league expansion because I remember 2k saying that League Expansion involves an Expansion draft

No, you cannot have fewer than 30 teams. Sadly.

If you expand over 30 teams, you can also contract teams. As long as you don't go under 30 teams. Say, you expand with the Sonics, you now have the option to contract another team, but only one. If you expand to 32, you can contract two teams, but no more than two.

Custom league means you can bring historic and European teams into the league and also realign the divisions.

I love that they did this, in large part because they added these teams for the announcers. I am sure people will make some great teams, but having the announcers say the teams and cities will make it more immersive for me.

My question is, can we have expansion teams and relocate/rebrand teams in MyLeague Online. I would think it would be sweet to use custom teams with my friends online. I doubt it's available.

Well since I'm Canadian and I'm a Baltimore Ravens fan, I'm guess I'm using Vancouver Ravens lol
