This would be an easier pill to swallow than some of the BS judges decisions.

Re: Why are EA so anti draws in combat sims??
FNC had draws in the game.
I know the reason but I'm not sure I can say because I cant remember if a dev talked about this on the forums or behind the scenes to me. I can say it has nothing to do with them being anti-draw.Comment

I never got to play UD3 online, but me and my 2 buddies would get stoned, and play that game for hours on end against each other.
It only happened once, but me and my buddy had an absolute war, and the result was actually a draw.
I remember we were both so friggin excited about battling with each other to a draw. I remember we literally stood up and high fived, lol. Sounds corny but it was so exciting and cool.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

I figured they just didn't want to deal with draws for online ranking/record purposes.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

This happened to me too, only once. Don't remember which Undisputed, but my bro and I had an epic five round war with Mir and Brock that ended in a Majority Draw. There was even a new animation we had never seen before or since of Brock and Mir shaking hands and hugging after the fight. It was a total riot and not disappointing at all.I never got to play UD3 online, but me and my 2 buddies would get stoned, and play that game for hours on end against each other.

No offense but it's kind of annoying to say "I know the reason but can't tell you but trust me it's not bad." If you can say it say it, if you can't then it's probably better to not bring it up.Teams: Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Reds, Marshall Thundering Herd, Virginia Tech Hokies (2010 alum)Comment

Re: Why are EA so anti draws in combat sims??
I usually don't do this and I dont mean for it to be annoying. The premise of this entire thread is wrong though. EA isn't against draws. There have been draws in EA games.
I also know the reason why EA doesn't have draws in the game and it's not because they dislike draws. So while I can't give you the exact reason why (because I'm under an nda) I would be doing the community a disservice by staying quiet and letting people think EA is against draws because they aren't.
This also is an example of why many of the game changers don't post here. There is a lot of stuff we know but can't comment publicly. So they dont want to risk violating their nda.
I try to give as much info as I can but if that's not appreciated because I can't give all the info, I'll stop posting what I know.

In summary "I know why EA doesn't have draws but I can't tell you. If you don't appreciate me not telling you then I will stop posting which will result in even less not telling".I usually don't do this and I dont mean for it to be annoying. Re: Why are EA so anti draws in combat sims??
This is an example right here of why people in the know rarely post anymore. Your response isnt constructive in any way and is simply just trolling.
The situation is simple. I'm under an NDA. So there are things that I know that I cant post about at all or in full because of the NDA. Most GCers take the safe approach and dont post at all unless its something that they know they can post about.
I try to give as much info as I can without violating the NDA even if I cant release everything. Doing that is a risk because I could violate it and get kicked out of the program by accidentally releasing information that is still under NDA.
So why would I risk breaking the NDA if people here only want an answer if it provides all the info? I answered the question (EA doesnt hate draws, the reason it isnt in UFC isnt sinister and has implemented it in other games) and gave as much info as I can. If thats not enough, I would prefer to give nothing because I wont be risking breaking the NDA.
I'm not obligated to communicate with the community as part of being a GC so I'm cool with just falling back and not posting like pretty much everyone else does.
As for you "lol", thats just another example of you trolling and bringing nothing constructive to the community. LOL.Last edited by aholbert32; 09-13-2016, 06:33 AM.Comment
