Sorry but HATE these forced stories. It's just corny. I love playing my career cut scene here and there but last year's story and they didn't learn their lesson and came with another one??

My thoughts exactly. I know the majority must like it though or they wouldn't do it I guess, but when I saw that trailer my reaction was just "ewwww". You can't even call that MyCareer, more like EveryonesCareer. I hate how the stories will make you out to be a superstar like right off the bat, even when your like a 68 Ovr scrub lol. At least make players earn their minutes and rep, don't just make everyone seem like an instant basketball god.

Maybe you aren't quite seeing how this in theory will make people go out and buy VC so their guy is as good as the hype?

They make the story for the guy they want you to make. They want you to drop some cash on a 200kVC. The only reason grinding for VC is even in there is to tone down on people screaming P2W. Expect the evolution to be making earning VC harder and adding more fluff VC sinks like shoes/clothes/tats/and probably decent hairstyles soon.

The place I am surprised is that they haven't made more of that stuff. I expected them to have it so you could have an apartment that can get bigger and bigger and filled with more and more junk. Maybe some cars that would show up in cutscenes. Not to mention more bling and crap you could wear.

From the aspect of creating revenue streams that is the obvious way to go.

I really can't tell enough from it to decide if I'll like it or not. Definitely going to try it out but I'm worried it'll be kinda corny. Personally, I don't even need a storyline. I just want to play the game.

Once again 2k stupidly places the MyPlayer in the current draft. I am sick and tired of being drafted in the same spot as someone else and that person still being on the team. I guarantee the guy in the trailer was drafted number 4 and Dragon Bender (the foreign guy in the trailer) who was drafted number 4 in real life is still on the team. Such a stupid design decision year after year. Just fast forward a year and create a generated draft class. Not hard at all. Not looking forward to going number 1 and somehow teaming up with ben simmons smh

anyone notice they have early 90's bulls vs t wolves on in the back ground ? Mayabe from 92-93 season. Thought it was strange because of lic deals with players.

Also I'm genuinely enquiring what they are saying the customisation differences are?
