So I'm going to pop the question.
After failing at the marriage thing twice, the last one taking so much from me and wrecking my world I'm going to give it one more shot. Hopefully she says yes. I met her on ok cupid 3 years ago in June we've been dating since August 31 of 2013 and Sunday night I asked her parent for their blessing in her hand in marriage and they said they would love for me to be a part of the family. I'm thinking of asking her in December sometime. Her name is Mollie no girl can measure up to her in my eyes she is my world. Wish me luck my friends.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Thanks I will as soon as I ask. I will probably wait until Christmas time, there always seems to be a sense of romance that time of year and I think it would be the perfect opportunity.

Re: So I'm going to pop the question.
I will be doing this in October for the first time.
I'm doing it on a road trip through Tennessee. We will be staying in a private cabin with a jacuzzi for a few days in a romantic setting in the Smoky Mountains. I figure that's a good spot to pop the question. After that we're staying in Nashville a few days for some Phish concerts.
So where you gunna do it OP? Got a special moment planned? Or do you want to do it spontaneous like?Comment

It is incredibly special to know when you have found the one. I am envious in many ways. Wishing you the best of luck but as others have said, I have no doubts it will go well!A Rising Storm in the North | Cheese's Eastern Michigan Dynasty (NCAA '12)

Re: So I'm going to pop the question.
Still haven't popped the question we talked about a ring last weekend and other things, so it will be soon. I have my eye on a couple of rings.Last edited by Happy29; 11-29-2016, 09:17 PM.“Those who would give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.”

Good to see that you are not rushing anything and taking your time. I wish you the best if and when you decide to take the next step.

That's so cute! Out of curiosity, what type of ring are you thinking of getting? I told my boyfriend that if he ever proposed (hint hint lmao) he should get me an aquamarine ring. Are you going with the traditional and safe option with the diamond, or being unique an all new-age?Comment
