I must be doing something wrong the franchise said corrupt also. There's nothing I need to modify on the pstv first?

Ok I couldn't be any more confused I transferred my own save to try and edit and it looks to be encrypted?

All game saves will be encrypted unless you get them with the trick from post #195 and from the folder savedata0 in your PS Vita/PS TV.

I recommend to first save your own roster/franchise file on your PS Vita/PS TV and name it as my correspondent attached file. Then, export/import your decrypted game save to/from your computer via ftp following the link from post #195. Backup your file too.

If you want to edit your game save with Madden DB Editor v3.0 you need to remove its header, edit your file and paste the header back again to be loaded in your PS Vita/PS TV. See post #151.

Could you please explain me what did you do exactly?

I think my disconnect is how to decrypt the save and re-encrypt it. I did as you said made a save with the same file name and replaced the save file with yours through ftp

Maybe I'm getting save from wrong spot do you have address of where save file is

Removing the header allows to edit the save with Madden DB Editor v3.0. It has nothing to do with exporting/importing files from PS Vita/PS TV.

If you check your save (or my attached files) with an hex editor, all the contents since the beginning of the file until just before DB is what I call the header. Again, see the attached picture to post #151.

I think it is very strange that your game save does not have a header. I am sure that happens since the game save is still encrypted.

September 12 2016 updated franchise file Madden NFL 13 PS Vita.

September 12 2016 changes:

• Roster update from September 10 2016
• Salary cap increased to 155.27 million as in 2016 NFL season
• Updated stadium names
• No starting injuries
• A few tweaks to playbooks, coaches and schedule

Besides those changes the file includes the 2016 regular season schedule, updated coaching staff, playbooks and the Rams relocated to LA.

This file is set to take control of the Dolphins. I tried to modify the file to control all 32 teams with no success. If you want to take control of other teams, you require to edit the file as explained in post #140.

Edit: I found an issue with my (franchise) game save and have solved it. The point is that since I was experimenting with taking control of all 32 teams, I forgot to adjust the CFUC column in COCH table to 0 for all coaches but Adam Gase (set to 1). The other two tables involved, (DEID and OWNR) have no issues by the way. Now the CPU will fix all roster related situations. Again, my file is set to take control of the Dolphins. Thanks to reeshmd23 to let me know about it. The attached file fixes this issue.

Db editor is what I mean but I was using version 4 I think let me look into that

Please bear with I wasn't to figure this out, do I have to install my own header from my save to your file for it to work? Is there something I have to do to the pstv for saves like yours to work on mine other than hentaku? I took the franchise you just posted any put it on my pstv with ftp and vita shell to ux0:user/00/savedata/pcse00084 Is this the right location? I did no modification to your file at all. Here's a screenshot of what happens

Game saves in that location are always encrypted.

You need to transfer the files from/to savedata0 in your PS Vita.
Did you follow all the instructions from the link?

ux0 refers to PS Vita/PS TV's memory card. On the other hand, savedata0 is an internal partition of PS Vita/PS TV especially created (?) to store temporarily game saves. You need to access savedata0 from FileZilla while you following the instructions from the link. If that is not the case, you will see nothing in savedata0. When do it correctly, you see all your Madden NFL 13 (in this case) game saves inside savedata0. At that moment you will be able to transfer decrypted game saves from/to PS Vita/PS TV.

Yes, the instructions of this link.
Backup your original app.db and the contents of ux0:/patch/TITLE_ID where TITLE_ID refers to your Madden NFL 13 PS Vita title id. Then follow the instructions of the link above. When you finish, place your original app.db and patch contents in the correspondent folders.

That is probably because PS TV has not installed Near application. The link's tutorial is based on modifying Near application through app.db.

I will try to modify the calendar app in app.db. You can try also. Just need to replace NPXS10000 (Near app) for NPXS10091 (calendar app) in the link's tutorial.
