I think the problem is that if you have 32 team control the cpu assums those are controlled by other people and they can change the unis so the option isn't there, its an option when you are doing solo or less then 32 teams

So I am happy to be wrong about how Color Rush jerseys are handled in Franchise.

Apparently the game also includes "color rush alternates" and has logic to prevent defaulting to same-color match-ups. For example, if in Year 2 of a franchise the game schedules a Thursday game of New England @ Chicago (who both wear navy color rush unis), the game will force the road team to its color rush alternate (which for either of these teams is probably all-white).

can confirm you can only change cpu unis of teams you DO NOT control, ie if you control 4 teams you will still have to push down on R3 and change them through that teams menu, if you are solo team then you can change them all through your menu
