So the CPU always chooses to kick the ball

I have played over 30 CFM games, and not once have I started a game with the ball. I have my settings to kick if I won the toss. Am I the only only one seeing this or am I lucky and winning the coin toss EVERY TIME.

SORRY FOR THE TITLE I MEANT TO PUT RECEIVE

I have never received the ball to start either. I'm always kicking. (Offline CFM).

Yeah I always just set it to receive in my settings so at least it's random.

I've kicked and received. This is for offline franchise.

Same here actually. I read that if you switch it to Receive that it randomizes it, however, i think i also saw doing that, makes you receive all the time.

I've decided to switch it up to my content.

If that's the case just do your own coin toss pre game I guess

So when it's set to receive it makes it random

Re: So the CPU always chooses to kick the ball

Yeah same deal with me, I have my settings to kick first and I have never received the ball to start the game. Even when I changed my first preference to picking wind direction, I still always kicked off first in over 40 games in offline franchise. Kind of annoying.

Amazing after all these years they can't get a simple coin flip correct.

Re: So the CPU always chooses to receive the ball

The CPU is coded to receive if the win the toss. So if they're coded that way and you're coded to kick if you win that means you'll always kick.

I get what you are saying. So if we both are set to receive, the coin flip determines who get the ball first. Glad I made this post.

I choose to receive and I've kicked off to start every game I've played so far, probably a good 15 games
