    Deluxe Edition?

    Hey all,

Apologies if there's already been a thread for this. I bought NHL 17 for the Xbox One, and I bought the deluxe edition worth $79.99 USD. The retailer at the store told me the content I unlock with the deluxe edition is worth a "$50 value". I plugged in my code and have been playing the game, mostly BAP, Franchise mode, and EASHL.

In EASHL, I started with absolutely nothing unlocked. My buddy that I play with has the regular version and started with (I think) the exact same stuff unlocked that I had.

What exactly did I get with my deluxe edition, and how is it worth $50?

Here is a link that shows the differences.

Sounds like its HUT packs (yuck!)

Explore NHL video games from Electronic Arts, a leading publisher of games for the PC, consoles and mobile.

So, basically, if you don't HUT...the real value is $0.

Good thing he didn't talk you into the super deluxe version!

You should have/get a code for the deluxe edition. This will give you 1 pack a week for 25 weeks. For use in the Ultimate team portion of the game.

You should get a code by email as well for the pre order that grants you some higher level equipment in
      eashl.

Damn, that sucks that it's only HUT (which I don't really like and have never really played). Luckily I bought it with a mall gift card, so I didn't spend any real cash on it. I could've gotten a good meal from the food court with the spare $10, but it's not the end of the world. Thanks
