NBA 2K17 Roster Update Request Thread (No Rating Discussions)

Mike Stauffer (bedwardsroy19) has reached out to us to request any roster updates you would like to see in NBA 2K17. If possible, please post an updated image of the player. (No hairstyle requests, since he doesn't handle that area).

As you play with teams, it would be extremely helpful if you notice anything "off" with certain aspects of the roster that you post that information here, to address in an update.

The feedback he is looking for in this thread is exclusively in reference to inaccuracies in specific jersey team colors, player accessories, shoes, jersey numbers, player information, rotations, contracts, and missing players.

This thread is not meant to discuss player attributes/tendencies/badges/art changes.

When you contribute, please post a reference. Including a link or a photo.

If you aren't interested in assisting with the roster updates, please avoid posting in this thread, it's simply not for you.

I didn't see you mention it but what about missing assistant coaches? There are a few "John Smith's" on there. Like on the Rockets.

I dunno if this is the right place but is there any particular reason why A LOT of free agents are missing, in past 2K games they usually keep some free agents around even if they haven't played in 2-3 years, but looking through now, all apart from 3 players who haven't played since 2014-15 are gone

Don't like that they've removed free agents either, it was recently announced that they removed them and have 50 current free agents per position.

Hey Guys i did 4 teams so far ...i will edit Contracts/badges/Gear/Position changes/Add Players

I am still working on it but i will end up creating all the missing players on the roster i make as well....

I will create delaney right now and post a picture when i am done.

Huge blow for any classic roster makers out there looking to recreate some 2000s roster. I was really keen to have a go at a 08-09 Roster but my hopes have sort of died down after realizing half the players I had plan to be in 2K17, just aren't there anymore

Matt Bullard still has the incorrect player picture smh idk how this even happens. Matt Bullard is white. Charles Smith is black. Matt Bullards classic rockets team picture is of charles smith knicks....has been for like 2 years now. Needs tobbe changed.

Walt Williams and Adrian Griffin have the same player in the pictures on the classic mavericks players. This was also the case last year.

I know Leftos talked about trimming the FA Pool to about 50 players per position.
I understand that some players didn't play in the NBA for a couple of years, but it would still be cool to get them back.
It didn't sound like a licence problem.
So if you could add some of them again it would be great.

Especially for all the historic roster creators out here
