Myteam greediest than ever!

I had raised my concerns but

a) all current players released, will be obsolete one month later.
I could understand some lower ratings, but I do not see FIFA release a Cristinano Ronaldo with 75 speed for example to raise him multiple times within the season. What they have done with all current players is embarrasing.

It means that you will never be able to compete with a day one team.
Please keep note that until last may I was using a team with Current Curry/AS Mitch/Current LBJ/Current KD/Current AD. All these players would cost below 100k combined by then and I was able to sweep Seed 1. This would never be able to happen now. Durant/LBJ/Curry are already below 15k, meaning that we will face them all the time, just a scrub version of them, but we will have to keep buying newer and better versions EVERY month or so , just to be able to compete.

Also the BEST thing, I pulled Weestbrook and Oladipo, so I thought it would be a good chance to get the reward player (Pierce) after I compete the colletction. Pierce is an 88 rated player, currently the best reward availble.

Guess what, to receive the player you must confirm that you can never sell ANY of your thunder players. This is the first time we see something like that.

All in all I am really dissapointed. This will apply also for historic awards. You will have to get every player, to get the reward and never be able to sell him back.

All in all, my first impression is really bad in the mode, it is becoming additionaly pay to win

most games with collection rewards for other players require you to lock the collection, making the cards unsellable. what would be the point if you could buy the cards and resell them to get a free player? that deflates a seemingly already deflated economy. by locking collections, less cards will be in rotation and therefore prices will stay the same or balloon.

That's a great point on not being able to use a day one team down the line. This is def not the way to go imo as well. Every player is very affordable as of right now. I thought the way my team started off last yr was really good. It was very rare for ppl to hv more than 1 amethyst, let alone just one. More challenging n fun to grind. This year everyone can grind for a few days and get whoever they want pretty much. Really no point of even opening packs.

Then the reward should be significantly better than the players of the collection.

What is the point getting collection rewards with players of 82-84 rating and lock your collection? This reward player will be unusable in couple of months

My 2c: if memory serves, quite a few people last year complained that the collection should be inspired by FIFA to get rewards, locking players in your collection to avoid the market being flooded by gold players with no value.

FIFA has no collection awards, and day one player stats are not chopped down. If Ronaldo is rated 93 is the game, he is 93 in the FUT as well
Ronaldo is rated 93, and I never got him in any of my games even if he gets special cards throught the year (which are very rare and expensive by the way)

Why do I need a LBJ that will play (because of his rating) as an Igguodala is beyond me.
Because this is the case right now. I would prefer to use Iggy and have drop rate similar to FIFA or something

By the way have you checked the market? Even emerald players have no value right now. Why would they? There are tons of Lebrons dropping, that will be unusable in 1 month.

You need to get the current sapphire reward player to unlock the diamond historic reward player for that team I think, all of which are rated at least 93 overall.

But I do agree I wish they'd release all the regular historic players off the bat so we could have some damn variety in lineups.
