Adaptive Coaching Engine GLARING OVERSIGHT

I'm hoping they could patch this in because it is a glaring oversight that needs to be implemented ASAP. I'm loving the new interface as I play more I learn more and how easy it is to get to things(just repetition) I play my early games getting used to the Menu system because it's new. So I'm just cycling menus learning quick steps.

You know when you select a type of defense you want to play and it flashes "White" it confirms your action. Well I believe this should stay highlighted so you know hey I already called for this to happen. Right now as it stands you go back into the menu and it's nothing zero nada zilch as if you didn't do anything.

All your changes should be highlighted no matter how many times you go check it, so you know what the hell you're doing. If you play with ACE on it should be highlighted so you know what the coach called. This is a "BIG" oversight too me, very glaring omission.



You have too many options and I know like me many of you forget what you called and you probably went back into the menu and called the same thing again over and over again, but if it was highlighted when you went back in to check what adjustments you made and then you can adjust again since that isn't working or the focus needs to be changed. This is also for when ACE is on.

in 2k16 they didn't highlight, what you selected or what ace selected but it was there to see.

Now in 2K17 the asst. coach is barking orders so you expect to see those things highlighted so you know they are selected, but they are not. As it stands now, with ACE "ON" you still don't know what is going on, and with it off you are at the mercy of your memory.

The only time ACE stays highlighted is in the Time Out Menu, but not in game on the fly menus. Please fix this.

THE ENTIRE COACHING SYSTEM IS BUSTED

Whether it's play now online or offline no matter if you use the on the fly coaching or in the huddle, none of the adjustments you make actually stick.

This is a pretty crippling issue. Even if you have everything set to manual and ACE turned off.

All the defensive adjustments keep defaulting to

Some Crash, Some Run
Neutral Def
Auto.

IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER THAT YOUR CHOICES ARE NOT HIGHLIGHTED BECAUSE YOUR CHOICES DONT ACTUALLY CHANGE. THEY ALWAYS REVERT BACK TO WHATEVER THE DEFAULT IS.

Not sure how 2K could even launch with it like this.

-THE On the fly menu shouldn't disappear after you make a choice either, it's incredibly annoying having to bring the menu up constantly to adjust your settings, in past 2k's you could adjust offense and defense in a matter of settings. The UI is a mess as well.

ACE also always seem to default to On everytime I play a MyTeam match, even though it's off in my settings. Matter of fact, the entire issue of your settings not being saved has been going on for years, but at least last year after I turned off ACE it never defaulted back to on.

Man, I hate you, paying close attention to what is actually happening on the floor. They revert back to defaults even with ACE on. DAMN.

Having the same exact issues on PS4 regarding the points of emphasis. They won't stick regardless of the game mode.

I can't believe it's going under the radar. Maybe I'm just a dinosaur. I play the game with friends in a very competitive manner. In its current state the game is broken.

Funny though, I realize that no one notices because they are mostly playing mycareer and blacktop.

I'm personally sticking with 2k16 until this is patched.

this makes playing online so hard. since my defenses wont stick, and the on the fly menu is so stupid this year, more so with the easier steals. like come one <_<

I think we might be starting to see why there was no real coverage on this game before launch. I noticed this when I played vs the classic sixers. A.I was killing me so I thought let's use the new t.o coaching to force the ball out of his hands. Nothing changed so another t.o selected double on catch. Nothing changed. Tried both with ace off and on still nothing. The only thing that worked was the old way of going to matchups under game plan and setting it from there. I tweeted them about it but no one has responded to anything. Which is weird bc every year in Czars vids he says let us know what u guys are seeing etc. But if they don't respond to you why should we if we don't know if your listening. My only hope is that they are jus working so hard to fix the numerous list of flaws in this years game. Fingers crossed.

When I enable this ACD, I cant change points of epmhasis? It adapt automaticly? Havent notice tbh that is adapting, quarter at 7 min and at the end of game, Houston got 17 3pts from 30 atempts. Who knows how much it would be if quarter was on 12 minutes.

Version 1.03 was pushed out to my console last night. As of now the points of emphasis and subs during timeout issues seem to be fixed. I haven't tested anything else.
