Had the same problem. Seems to be a rare glitch since I had been looking for a solution online for 2 days.

Later on I remembered you could purchase vc in the prelude, so I tried that instead and it worked. Transfers to the main game flawlessly. It's an easy workaround until 2k patches that up. Try it!

I had the same problem too then I played The Prelude to see if I could get VC and I did.

So the work around for me was buy the VC in The Prelude.

Your paying more when you VC goes away each year? 2k has turn this game into the Sims. Dress up my doll and buy pretty shoes.

Just tell me the collisions with the ball are fixed and they merged all the hot fixes into thins release
