    NBA 2K17 Badge Guide

Timeframe Unknown. Could be season or career. Probably season?

HOF badges are ~ 4x the bronze version.

Please post if you know how to get the following or have additional CONCRETE information.

Alpha Dog, Defensive Stopper, Chasedown Artist, Floor General, Defensive Anchor, Clutch Performer, Hustle Rebounder

remember you have orange juice. this is helpful for some badges.

Also. It is very unprofessional to have an E-Sports title that has bonuses locked behind mystery.

    This is not okay.

        Re: NBA 2K17 Badge Guide

I agree it's ridiculous that there are just these semi-understood badges and 2k offers NO guides/breakdown. I understand that when badges first came out, as far as I remember, they were just added little bonuses for using a certain style of play. Now they are ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY given how restrictive the stat caps are. I've got my OJ other half, Justice Young, with 99 open-mid, 99 open-3, 97 spd, 97 vert, 97 acceleration, 98 driving layup, 99 on all defensive stats, 98 ball control, ETC...and here my glass cleaner is sitting at a 50 shot close, 47 shot mid, and 38 shot 3 lol

Anyways, getting off track. I just got Bruiser for my player and it didn't unlock at the same time as Brick Wall. Brick Wall was directly from ~100 "Good Screen" events. But I got Bruiser much later and I really have no idea what caused it. I also don't know why Bruiser is so expensive to upgrade...last years it was cheap cause it didn't do much lol

I also unlocked the Grand Badge for my glass-cleaner archetype (the one that activates when "hot")...but I still don't have Hustle Rebounder bronze. Does anyone know what it takes to get that badge? I have 64 OREBs and 403 DREBs. Do I need more OREBs? I thought I'd have this badge by now. IMO, it's the MAIN badge for the glass-cleaner archetype

Great thread OP. Also, I believe for catch and shoot you actually just have to shoot a bunch of stand still jumpshots. When I unlocked the badge a a couple of times I wasn't taking many catch and shoot jumpers.

Cool op ! Is break starter confirmed ? Seems like I should have it .

Gotta try for charge card . Pick and roller is holding me up too long.

What does your grand glass cleaner badge do it sounds like it could be extremely useful.

That's not correct. I had 480+ rebounds before I got Hustle Rebounder. There is a set number of offensive and defensive rebounds you need. Since I'm good at DREB's and bad at OREB's, I had way more DREB's than I needed by the time I got the required number of OREB's.

However, speaking of Hustle Rebounder....has anyone got the HOF version yet? I'm grinding for it but like I mentioned, I'm not good at getting OREB's. So I'd like to know if it's even worth me trying to get the HOF version of the badge or if it won't be possible for me in an 82 game season lol

Hey guys. Is getting badges different on HOF or Rookie difficulty? Cant find any confirmation or denial on that. Cuz its MUCH easier to do contest shots on Rookie.
