Re: Arena customization in Franchise mode
I'm thinking it may have to do with stadium rights, but EA hasn't come out and said anything. Plus with goal songs that doesn't seem to make sense since some stadiums have their licensed songs(CHI, BOS, PIT) while others don't(PHI)Comment

Re: Arena customization in Franchise mode
Are you sure? I relocated the Hurricanes to Hartford, and wasn't able to customize the arena (or maybe the goal song, I don't remember and can't check right now), neither in the offseason nor in the first regular season.Comment

Re: Arena customization in Franchise mode
Coming from DustinYewyYBG(Gamechanger)It's only available on created teams. You can't alter a current (existing) NHL team arena due to licensing. I would assume it has to do with the NHL teams signing on for authenticity and not for people to change their arena. Same goes with building a new arena in current NHL cities, you can't do it because there is an existing arena that is licensed.
Hope that clears it up for you. It isn't ideal but it's not EA, it's the NHL teams.

Re: Arena customization in Franchise mode
So what was the point of adding it in Franchise mode? It was one of features they pushed... so I guess they have been false advertising. Wonder if there will be some type of lawsuit or something because of it
