2000-01 Roster (2k17, PS4)

Hey guys,

just want to let you know that the 2000-01 season returns for NBA 2k17.
And it will be even better!!!

The roster will, once again, include the amazing work of SonicMage
You can find what he did for 2k16 and continues for 2k17 here:

I have also reached out to a few more people that are willing to help on different aspects of the process.

So exciting times ahead people!


As i'm in a very early part of this more feedback and suggestions for last years work is welcome.
Please post them in the 2k16 version of this thread: 2000-01 Roster (2k16)

And thank you guys once again for downloading and playing the roster.

And now let's continue this for 2k17

I used a lot of his created players for the 2k16 version of this season.
Along with faces from SkylineGTR, others i found on youtube and my own creations.
The CAP system for 2k17 is the same, so you will find them on this roster, too

Oh yeah, i know your CAPs were on some rosters.
The "problem" is you don't have videos or pictures that show how to re-created your work. I like to take a look at the CAPs first to decide which one i'm using or tweek a few things here and there

Just a quick update as it will take a while until release...

Last year i kind of messed up with the nicknames and everyone was called the same. But i didn't forget what you guys said.
Every nickname just once per team now

I created allot of TGOR's created players. specifically for the 00-01 season


so if you need some I can add them to your free agents on your roster

There probably won't be any updates in the coming weeks.
Right now it's all about creating CAPs, adjusting the spreedsheet and so on.
This will take a while. Remember last season the roster came out in early march.
So i don't want to come here like every five days and tell you that i'm still working on some things, but you still have to wait weeks.
Don't want to get you guys to hyped when jumping into this thread.
So i try to only post updates when i have some good news, screens oder something like that
