For XP, try going half way up on the meter and back. The closer to the top you go, the more your kicks will miss the mark.

Re: Madden NFL 17 Tuning Update Available Now, Here Are The Details (9-23)
I feel like most of the people complaining about this tuner played a bad game or two and jumped to a conclusion that it's terrible. Not much has changed, very minor stuff. No reason to not download the tuner if you ask me. Every time there is a tuner people complain, claim they broke the game, and even convince themselves the tuner changed things it had nothing to do with. Reading through the thread, this one is no different. Just saying, for those of you who aren't downloading the tuner because people here are complaining, you should probably just download and decide for yourself

I'm watching the Raiders and Titans game. The Titans are missing tackle after tackle. Let me restate, there was nothing wrong with the missed tackle percentages.

Maybe looking at the data on a larger scale showed otherwise.Comment

Bud, I have a hard time believing that these tuner adjustments are made with any sort of thorough assessment or data analysis. Here is why I believe that: One day prior to the release of the tuner, I was following a Twitter conversation between Clint Oldenburg and another Twitter poster. The discussion was based around block shedding and if it was an issue. Clint's response; "not an issue" . The tuner lowering the block shed chance was released the next day. Nope, I believe the tuners are pushed with no testing, and are "knee jerk"

Why are you feeling the need to trump your opinion over the opinion of others?
It's plain as day you don't like this tuner.Comment

He is right tho. Running backs felt more dangerous pre tuner. However, overall, the tuner improved gameplay.

I'm not seeing it in the games I play, though.
I'm still seeing RB's still shreading my defense.
Even Matt Forte gouged me for 132 yds last game.Comment

Re: Madden NFL 17 Tuning Update Available Now, Here Are The Details (9-23)
One thing I recommend if you use the latest tuner is delete all of your sliders and madden profile . This will reset the gameplay back to default and erase all of the minor changes you might have made either through sliders, penalties or auto subs . You don't have to delete your rosters ! What this does is reboot the game to its original state .
Adjusting sliders on a constant basis and changing other gameplay variables builds upon changes to the game . It's like your corrupting the original code to satisfy your custom gameplay. I've changed sliders so many time just to notice that the game sometimes moves a little slower or sluggish. Something changes in the code when default gameplay sliders are altered.
With that said ,I strongly recommend deleting all of your sliders and profile . Update the tuner then put your sliders and other changes to where they were .
I did this and the tuner plays great. I also play on default All Madden, but it def plays tighter and cleaner than on launch .Last edited by Brooke2011; 09-25-2016, 02:12 PM.Comment

Played another game this morning, so four in total since the tuner. As far as I can tell the tuner hasn't changed anything noticeable. The run d pursuit angles seem slightly better but could be placebo.PSN: Dalton1985

Running is a little harder imo. It's noticeable to me. Backers get to you faster and you don't break as many tackles. Other than that, pretty much the same tho.
