    Are FG's/PAT's broken?

    Forgive me if it's already been discussed elsewhere. Currently my kicker is shanking all user FG's and PAT's but other kicks/punts are fine. Did the last patch do this? If so, wtf.

    I've noticed that if you kick a fg/pat, you can't hit x at the top of the meter. Instead you have to time to where the x is on the kicking meter itself. When I hit x at the top of the meter, the kick would be way short.

      Yeah I tried to play around with it in practice mode but could only make 1 FG out of 10 or so. Interesting how something this noticeable went unnoticed before the "patch" was sent out.

        I haven't missed an XP or FG since the tuner so I'm not sure what you're doing

          Whats the purpose of the "sky" punt? and the other type of non normal punt?

            You call sky punt if you are punting from the 40 or so and want to pin them inside the 20. It's much higher than a normal punt so it won't travel far. It also has a better chance of not bouncing in the end zone. Gives your players more time to run under it to down it inside the 15 or so

            The back spin one is pretty self explanatory. To put back spin on the ball so it won't go into the end zone when try punt inside the 10-6

                I know this will seem silly, but are you sure you understand how it works?

                We had a guy in a league last year(when the white arrows were part of the kicking game) who had no idea that you had to keep the kick in between the arrows in order for it to be accurate. it happens.

                    Field goals and PATs are pretty much automatic. Use the skills trainer and I am sure you will be making everything.

                        A lot of people aim for the top of the meter, but should aim for the two white arrows for both the power and accuracy slices of the meter. I did the same thing for the first game I played, tried to aim for the top out of habit. That's just not the way to do it.

                          I got it sorted out. I'm using Jarodd21's sliders and he has the FG Accuracy at 20. Bumped it back up to 50 and it's normal again. Might knock it down a little bit but at 20 it was rubberbanding all my kicks.

                            There's a kicking skills trainer?! I never looked for a kicking drill. Yes, I'm horrible at these lol. I actually never did drills period.

                              Yeah there's quite a few for both kicking and punting. I did them all to get the gatorade MUT pack. Those things can help a bit. Just do them until you can get GOLD and you should then be much better.
