NHL 17 Relocation Jerseys
I think it would be a cool idea to sticky a thread where people could post their Jersey designs when relocating a team. The NBA 2k forum does this and it is very successful.
If you have cool team jerseys that you're proud of or want others to see, post them in this thread.NCAAB: West Virginia Mountaineers
NCAAF: West Virginia Mountaineers
NHL: Philadelphia Flyers
NFL: Philadelphia Eagles
MLB: Philadelphia Phillies
NBA: Philadelphia 76ers

Re: NHL 17 Relocation Jerseys
I am bringing back a franchise to Atlanta, replacing panthers with the Atlanta Knights. ( I remember the old IHL Atlanta Knights I would go watch with my brother) So went with a similiar color scheme. I really do not know many NHL players, so set up a fantasy draft according to how the teams actually placed during the 2015-2016 season in points. So I was 8th pick, and did a auto draft. Will post pics of my unis when I get a chance.

Re: NHL 17 Relocation Jerseys
Thanks to you and DonPensFan! Surprisingly the game gave me the tan and orange color right off the bat, tbought it fit well. My 3 year old son picked the Old Nucks logo so Blue was added for the overalls. Took a while for me to get it how I liked it(almost an hour).Comment

Re: NHL 17 Relocation Jerseys
What does everyone do about goalie masks so they don't just show up white?
I have been finding goalie masks i like, then picking a theme, then colors that work with the mask. I had to restart a previous team since there was no mask that matched the team name, theme, colors, etc hahaComment

Re: NHL 17 Relocation Jerseys
I think you just have to pick a generic one that is close. Since I'm recreating classic franchises, I actually want the white goalie masks. I've also gone the extra step and recreated the old-school brown pads:
Spoiler
It's a royal pain because you can't copy and paste uniform styles, you have to go in and manually change the color for every single part of the blocker/trapper/pads, times three because there are three different unis (home/away/alt). It ends up being close to a hundred color edits for every single team just for the goalie equipment.www.heyimbill.com | sports poster art and other cool stuffComment

I am trying to work out a steampunk/fire color scheme based on the ECHL Wheeling Nailers goalie mask now. If I can get something to look decent enough I will post pics hereComment

Re: NHL 17 Relocation Jerseys
Click the link pasted for an extended game highlight montage from my most resent game against San Jose in Quebec. I will post other videos here to show off my road and third jerseys as I play.
If anyone knows how to embed this that would be great if you could clue me in. I tried to copy/paste the embed link from the site and it really didn't go well. lol
Anyways...ill say this, the DVR and Upload Studio are amazing, easy to use tools to do what you see here.

Re: NHL 17 Relocation Jerseys
I have done the same thing a few times now. What does everyone do about goalie masks so they don't just show up white?
I have been finding goalie masks i like, then picking a theme, then colors that work with the mask. I had to restart a previous team since there was no mask that matched the team name, theme, colors, etc haha
For my Seattle Wolves I use the backup goalie mask for the Canucks (it fits, color-wise). As a secondary I use the new Preds mask.
For my new version of the Nordiques, the colors are Dark blue and gold, closer to St Louis Blues (and I use their team roster). For the Goalie I use the Mikkelin Jukurit (SM-liga) mask. It has a lot of Nordic stuff on it, and really fit the colors I use for the team.
For my Atlanta Outlaws, I use the colors of Crimson, gold, dark brown and black. im using the Wheeling Nailers mask as the primary, and the Pirati Chomutov as secondary.
I will post some pictures, if I can get some good ones off my screen later.Last edited by Northernwolf; 09-29-2016, 08:15 AM.Comment

Re: NHL 17 Relocation Jerseys
I finally found a combo I liked for a custom team to replace Vancouver in Portland. Using the goalie mask from the Wheeling Nailers and a color scheme of Burgundy (Avalanche), Sand (Coyotes), and a couple different gray's. Home and away jerseys are more modern and the alternative jersey is a throwback'esque style.
I will try to post some pics this weekend.Comment
